Oh well that's too bad. Have fun. The scarf SAs at FSH are super sweet and will show you different ways to wear them. I was intimidated the first time I went but do have fun and try things. The scarf departments at sevres and George V are often less crowded than fsh so try them too.

I'm a little hesitant to post here as I'm basically a scarf virgin.


I'll be in Paris is a couple of weeks. Do the Hermes shops only carry the current season's scarves or what is displayed on the Hermes website?


I ask because I've admired past season scarves like LFASDV and wondered whether they are possible to find.

LFaSdV is too long ago but take a list of all. This coming season is still fairly new in so they should still have plenty of AW15 out too. They often have a few past in draws so you'll have to ask directly.

I will miss you PP as I arrive a few days after your return. For seasounds, I will miss you too, but don't be intimidated at FSH. It is usually crowded so if you have the time, I enjoy stepping back from the counter and just watching them open the scarves for other customers first. As others have stated they will be heavy with the current Spring 2016 but will also have a decent selection from the past 2 or even 3 seasons. In all honesty the experience of watching all the expert SAs unfurl the scarves is mesmerizing for me. I think I could spend a day there! Have a wonderful trip!

What a wonderful idea, AngelFood! Just as TPF provides inspiration virtually, I should allow real-life to provide it as well. Need to remember to take time to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, watch the scarves unfurl! Lovely.
