Hello Ladies, my compliments and congrats to you all for your beautifull latest acquisitions..SOOOO ENABLING! I'd like to ask if someone has bought the new M. Phoenix Coloriage in the TURQUOISE/ IVOIRE/CANARD cw..wich is so beautiful with COLVERT too IMO..
Someone has some pics to show it? TIA !!

Stunning x 1000 :ps:

Looks absolutely beautiful, how are you liking the border and making it work?

This was the one I was after (but think I blew the money elsewhere meanwhile anyway) If they haven't all been snapped up by the time I get it together then please

Another beautiful Jungle Love! So crisp in this CW. Thanks for sharing!

lanit, congrats, and so glad you persevered! :smile1: Such a gorgeous border on this design. I'm hoping one of the colorations works for me…maybe CW10!

So, so gorgeous on you, isn't it just fabulous?!?!:loveeyes: Wear it in good health lanit!

So beautiful, Lanit. And your lipstick, whichever one you chose, is perfect, as usual.

PT, Etoile, hclub, textile, Beekman, Thank you all for the uplifting compliments! PT, I tend to choose similar colors in my Shawls, but this one really strikes me as so different from my others and yet so wearable. I really love the lavender greys, the blues are unexpected and the jade green, you will die for. It also has those bold pops of yellow and some rust in it too. I will take a couple more shots for you. I think you will love it. The border us the BEST part! An unexpected contrasting teal hem too.

I succumbed to jungle love tatoo after an sa told me proceeds go to honor the big cats and the reissue is a tribute to dallet.

nice scarf! (i am currently waiting for one to arrive on my doorstep to take an up-close & personal peek. ;-))

... but as far as proceeds from scarf-sales go (towards panthera, the organization) - i believe your SA is mistaken. as far as i know, that is only true re: the panthera pardus design.

with regards to all other items sold around the exhibition (see doloresmia's link), the information is somewhat muddled as to what sales/proceeds (and to what percentage) actually go towards panthera. (at least i can't find anything definitive and am still waiting to hear back from hermès on that very topic.)

quote from the article: "[Kaplan] cuts to the chase: “What Hermès is doing is giving us access to one of the most impressive clientele lists; that’s an act of utmost generosity.”"

hm... okay... i also understand that the admission is free but what about money made from the merchandise?
does anybody have more conclusive info re: this topic?

Sotheby's auctioned off some special Hermes items at the opening night party. The proceeds went to Panthera.

"The six items auctioned off by Sotheby’s were all specially made for the benefit and included a handmade tapestry, a first from the brand which was created over 560 hours, a hand-painted vase, and a Picotin Lock handbag with crocodile and pearl detailing. Additionally, guests also bid on two trips, one to Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, and another for a four-night stay in Brazil to see the jaguars."
