Finally!!!!!

Bain de Mer is a really cool design by none other than Jean-Louis Clerc [based on one of his earlier drawings]!!

HISTORY: "The decade is the 1950s. On a deserted beach, a young woman in a broad-brimmed hat sits gazing at the sea. Her name is Minouche, and she is none other than the artist’s wife, captured with his characteristically lively, light touch, in just a few lines, evoking the graphic elegance of an era. Duplicated here, the drawing suggests a strip of vintage film, a sweet souvenir of summer, the kind we warm to on a cold winter night."

Such a cool story and it has that signature "watercolor" effect that many Clerc scarves have.

Unfortunately none of the 4 colorways currently shown really wow me. :-( Hopefully there will be some more that appear. Usually there are at least 6 c/ws on the 70s, no?

Oh! That's sooo cute! I love it. Gosh there are a lot of good 70s this season which is nice. I'm trying to round out my collection of formats other than 90s.

OMG!!! So many beautiful designs AND cws for this season!!! I'm dying.... I don't know what to choose 😱😱😱

I especially love the under the waves in mousseline, les pays des oiseaux fleurs in carre and les ailes pleins de joi in 70!! 💕💕💕

Lovely mod shots everyone 😍

Thanks BJS great fun perusing US site since ours is still stuck in the dark ages!
I'm getting my eye in now and have decided against Ardmore Artists Savannah and also Mythique Phoenix , it's the more retro scarves that have really piqued my interest in the long term . So Modernisme Tropicale and this Bain de Mer with blue sea and fuchsia hem are current contenders .

I hope you find one you like, it's the blue watercolour sea I love!

Wow that is gorgeous. I am increasingly drawn to these grey cw's.

Probably not this month.

The decrease was July 1st of last year. I remember because it was my anniversary and we went to Hermes where I was pleasantly surprised.

OMG,
We are not only twins, sister and cousins with some carres.. I too was born on July 1st!!!!!

I haven't meet anyone, order than the latelady DI!!!

Regards from Barcelona:p:p

I just purchased The Savana Dance with the black background!! It was between that, the orange, and the marine, but I couldn't resist the bright colors against the black.

Oooooh congrats! Can't wait to see it!

I am now actually having some temporary insanity and thinking of getting two Savanas and calling it a season. The coral/violine for sure, but now I've also fallen in love with the pink/yellow (not on H.com USA). We'll see how I'm feeling when I get to the boutique. Not going to buy till then as I would like to be able to buy myself a little something for my birthday. Because yes, I'm five. :partyhat:

Hermes Nuttynut, we will be twins. I also, like many other TPFers, ordered the CW02 today with the black background. Love animals and games drives. This brings back so many memories. I hope to plan another trip in a couple of years back to Kenya to see dear friends who are reitiring and will be bi-continental (i.e., 6 months US -6 months back home in Kenya). I would love to stay 3 months. A girl can only dream while currently renovating a kitchen this year and too many family obligations.

Thanks so much for posting Bostonjetset, I was calling Hermes inquiring about this scarf while also tracking the arrival of its bigger cousin (La Marche du Zambeze scarf 90 - CW07 by the Ardmore Artists) also in the same black background colorway. Thanks to you, I have now placed my roder for CW02 with the black background as well. Like Hermes Nuttynut, I am also a sucker for the black background and bright colors.
