Have a wonderful time and please update me on your fun purchases. I wish we were going to overlap. We have similar taste so think of the trouble we could get into! I don't arrive until October 26.

Yes, it would be great to meet up! Maybe next time? We tend to go once a year. I'll definitely let you know next time.
We also come to Boston once in a while, my DH is from a Boston suburb, maybe there one day?
It would be fun to go to H together [emoji23].

P.S. I don't know how the exchange rates are for you but even with the US price decease after all is said and done we still save about $50 per scarf for a 90 cm buying in Europe. Last spring it was over $100! Which is why I bought 5!

Same for me, we are paid in USD and I purchase from US stores as even with week Australian Dollar and tax refund I get here, it's still cheaper in the US, and definitely cheaper in France. That's why I'm holding off on my purchases. $50 per scarf times multiple scarves is decent amount of money [emoji15].
And for Cashmere shawl, I think the difference is almost $200.
It's so exciting to be planning the purchases [emoji2]. I'll definitely let you know what I find, the SC as well, I wish I got it years ago!

DH loves hearing how much I "saved" by spending $$$. I'll probably pick up scarf or two this time, but my priorities are a beige bag and some jewelry. Yes please do let me know.

Yes jewelry, planning a VCA visit [emoji23], my other weakness. I wish those weaknesses were a bit cheaper.
My DH listens, but not sure how much is actually registered. He gave up, keeps saying "happy wife, happy life"...

I think the price difference for 90cm between US and France is still closer to $100 now (after tax return in Europe and sales taxes in US), so it's definitely worth the wait. Although you might want to make sure that they have the cw you want in Europe first. When hubby was in Paris last time, I was hoping he could pick up a Ciels Byzantin for me but they didn't have the cws I was looking for (black and white and the first one in expatwife's photo) so I had to get it here in the US.

The first one you have in the photo is stunning in real life in my opinion.

How much are they? 365 euros? Or 325? I forget. With the exchange rate being 1.12:1 and the 12-14% vat refund I figure the price in euros is what you pay in dollars after all is said and done. Customs in the U.S. Usually charges me 2-3% flat rate. That makes the math easy. It's a good savings. And that's not counting the 7% sales tx at my local Hermes. Leather goods and jewelry are an even bigger savings.

I think it was €325? It's €302 at the airport

Ok. Just looked on the France site. 335 euros. So that equates to about 335$ when all is said and done. You save $65 plus tax! More on the larger formats.

Yay. I only bought at the airport so I wasn't too sure on the actual store price
I did get a Twilly a few days ago at FSH and I think it was €135 :)

Detaxing is so annoying so I prefer to buy at the airport but I got a K so it made sense to get one right away

Thank you, I'm happy you didn't delete them.
They are so pretty, all of the cws.
Here is a picture that my hubby took, along the ones I posted in the Fall thread.

I love the purple one!!!!!!!!
I have considered this turquoise one, the neutral black beige one, and the blue that was posted recently. But these are pretty too. I like the first and fourth here. The purplish and the pink. It's a beautiful design. I think we should all get one before they are gone, don't you agree?
Oh, all good choices!!!! I have only seen the blue I bought for MIL IRL. It is stunning. I think I've narrowed it down between the green or purple at the moment. :graucho:
Pirula, we need to add this to our list of things to see when I visit. It's so much prettier than it appears on h.com. I have only tried the neutral one in person. I need to try more colors.
I wish I was going to go shopping with you ladies:graucho: Have fun!!!
