Thanks so much for these photos. It is very helpful. Both of these are beautiful and perfect neutrals. There are so many different ways to tie this design that each CW is like a whole new scarf....kinda like Licorne which looks like a different scarf in each of the CWs while JdL just looks like different colors. Does that make sense? BTW, years ago H did a BridesdeGala in the same CW as 01....natural & blue are always a gorgeous combination. I may end up with 3 or 4 of these.

Chestnutty raised a point regarding the 3D looks of the buttons. Do you feel that the buttons are less 3D on the 08 than the 01?
I tried on the pink one at the store today and it's quite a beauty. But I want to wait to see a neutral first before making a decision. I do need to narrow down between 08 and 01 though.

well, that is an interesting question. I feel that buttons in blue BB are in fact more 3D than in white BB.
But overall Blue BB seems to be more "flat" than a white one. Maybe because Cw01 has just neutral & shades of blue while CW08 has white, shades of black AND neutral that nicely underlines all the details.
Are you able to order both & return the one that you like less? I love the CW08 so much that I would recommend it to everybody. I think it is going to be my most elegant and favourite neutral but I am brunette and those colours simply work for me.
Unfortunately H does not ship to my country so it's pretty complicated...Re cw 08 - agreed on all counts, it is amazing but I love cw 10 too. I am blond, Nordic type and sometimes I look washed out in neutrals, so this is my main concern....

THIS. My coloring is very fair, Hermesick and this is a concern for me, too. Usually, I require CSGMs and 90cm silks that have a pop of color. Still, I am on the wait-list for BB CW 08, the modeling pics on this thread are amazing but this is one that I will have to see IRL.
Thank you for picture! I agree blue one seem to be more monochromatic and white/black one has more pop to it...
VigeeLeBrun and Hermesick, I am extremely fair-skinned (think Nicole Kidman levels of fairness!), with platinum blonde hair, and cw #08 works wonderfully on me, especially when I wear more color in terms of lipstick when wearing the shawl. I feel like this is a cw that would look lovely on just about everyone.
