There really are some beautiful designs this season. It's so unfair though that the UK is one of the first places to get the price increase but the London Stores are still not really getting any of the new season stock - it's so slow here.

Sorry about the bad pics. I thought I would quickly take the summary page of the scarf booklet. The last two pics are for the GM shawls.

Aghh!!! I need to stop checking this thread. Between the scarves that Seton and TankerToad have posted, and now these pics, I am falling more and more in love. I don't know if I'll be strong enough to resist! Thank goodness my local boutique has only received a few SS2014 scarves thus far. But I guess delaying the inevitable is not really a victory...:panic::panic::panic:

No, take a closer look at your pic. ALL THREE scarves are Folklore. The middle one is not Tout en Carre.

I tried the new summer twill plume Coup Fouet in two cws already so it's avail.
The new "Soie folle" pamplet that nana was kind enough to scan shows the 2 summer plumes are Folklore and Fouet.

Uno also already said earlier in the thread that the 2 summer plumes will be Folklore and Fouet.
Seton, how was the hand of the Coup de Fouet 140?
Is it really light and airy like the Lalbhai summer silks, or is it heavier like the Equateur?

I was never able to determine if Lalbhai and Equateur were the same composition. My SA said she thought that H was still tweaking the material, hence the difference between the two, but I suspected they were different altogether.

Hmmm, I guess it is more like Equateur (I own neither so maybe I may be not the best person to ask)! I found it very shiny, like silk satin, which put me off. The colorways were pretty tho which is one of the reasons I tried them on. That and that I wanted to get a Fouet scarf and bracelet set. The colorways I tried on were pink/white and the poitron in the booklet. HTH.

Had an opportunity to check out the C Book today. Lots of beauties are coming, and I wish I had the memory to spill the beans on all of it, but I don't. I could give a personal commentary - the CWs for the coming season are just lovely, as are the designs.

I managed a couple (very bad) spy shots when the SA wasn't around. Doesn't help to have a camera that clicks every time you photograph.

There are two "neutral" Coeurs, though not the gorgeous CW on the FSH bolide. Pity.

Seeing the many CWs of Ciel, I'm convinced there is a colour for everyone who loves the design. And even one that comes in line with the combination used for Phoenix (Aubergine/Dark green).

Herewith a snap of two Ciel CWs as per the C Book (right has gorgeous dark tones like Phoenix):

Then, I know how many of you ladies love the Native American depictions. So here's a spy pic of the Chefs Indiens scarf. Sorry about the blurry pics but I needed to be quick quick quick:

Pleasant surprise this season is the quantity of CWs for each scarf. There is almost a color for everyone. Lacking are brown/beiges, but there are gorgeous colors aplenty and enough to be labelled as neutral.

Saw the GM IRL of Jardin de Leïla IRL that Sissymilano posted here as well, and it's gorgeous.

Overall, a promising season!

Thanks! The Lalbhai has more of a sheen, IMO, so perhaps it is more like that.
The Equateur was more like a 90 twill, but not quite as rigid. I missed the CdF in the 90, but did grab a beautiful mousse, so we will see...
I do love those CdF enamels! Please share if you get one.:smile1:
