I prefer the original black cw of the 90CM Au Coeur de la Vie twill- more screens and more colorful. But if you are after a gentler black cw, this may fill the bill.

It is very intense
Very colorful- saturated colors with fine detail

I've tried it on, it's almost like a different scarf. I loved it but it gives off a totally different impression. The other cws are more like the original and more rich and 3D

Thanks for the information- it is lovely but will be a pass for me as I have the original black cw which I am quite fond of.

my SA and I looked at the original and new black cws side by side since i happened to have the original on me *ahem*. she was the one who said the original is much better. I played dumb and said the new one wasnt that bad.
Still, this is a good season for Honore fans with the reissue of Couer and the intro of Phyteas.

Stopped by Toronto H store today but SA said they haven't received any spring scarves/shawls. Have the other stores (US/Europe) already received them? I never kept tap of when things come in but am in need of a spring color scarf to chase away the winter blahs.

I think they're different kind of beauty. The original has some purple accents, which lifted up layers foliage and made the scarves look truly like it's building up to the sky. The green one, though monotonous and slightly flatter, may be perfect for green scarfies, but a disaster for those who love color contrast...
