seton posted a cashmere GM shot of Della Cavalleria, and two of the Licorne shawls, on the scarf of the day thread, if that's of any interest.
Hi Pierina2, many apologies for not replying sooner - not ignoring you honest!

I saw our esteemed Seton's post of the gorgeously spring coloured Della Cavalleria cashmere and silk GM shawl but had to pretty much blank it emotionally ( after swooning to the floor!) because the shawls are out of my price range especially after the price hike. I'm old school - 90cm silk twill for me :smile1: Been trying for a while to wean myself onto the 70cms but never found the right design in the right colours but the green and purple Rose de Compas may break that duck.

Really sorry that I had hardly any time to spend in store and get details. These 2 cws are on a natural beige background just like Imprimeur Fou Sequences. The design is just 2 colours in 04 which is a taupe with Lie de Vin which I think is ( red) wine dregs in French and the other whose cw number I didn't look at was taupe and orange. As the design is very fine and delicate the colors are subtle and feminine. If you have seen the design in the 90 Carre, there is dead space in the centre except for the name of the shawl. In the Carre it's on a white background. This is just the type of design I love so definitely on the list for me. HTH!

I saw a colorway of blanc/framboise/lie du vin. Very soft and pretty. It looks like a fine line pencil sketch. Because of the softness of the colors and the fine lines of the design, the details don't jump out at you--it is a very subtle shawl when worn.

Some SS14 scarves are now showing up on the H.com European sites. I saw an Astro MT (Ref H092707S 02):

And this CW5 of Jardins de Leïla, a personal wish-listed favourite (which I immediately scooped up and is now sold out on site again):

:rofl::rofl: I have decided I can't say I'm not into any specific format. Truth be told - I'm into ALL of them (well except maybe gavroche). I love 70, 90, 140, pointu, moussie, the list goes on and on... If I like the design and cw, I will make it work! Like Tim Gunn used to say...

Me too! I love the carrè and GM (silk or cashmere) sizes but don't really wear any of the others. I'll buy a pochette or 70cm on a whim, but I never do wear them. For mousseline I like only the stole size, as the way I wear them the stole format shows off the colors and design the best.

Thanks for the details! Sounds like a winner to me. 💕
