La Vie, it is pretty and looks good with the top you have on in the photo....try holding it up to various things in your closet and see what it does for your wardrobe......I have learned some interesting new color combos from Hermes that have been fun to add but I also kept one that I don't just love and find that I seldom wear it.....
Is it the strong contrast or the gold color itself that makes you hesitate? The colorway of mine has much less contrast.
Let us know what you decide.

Congratulations on finding this beauty. It looks gorgeous on you! I got tired of waiting for it in the US so I purchased mine from Poupishop.

La Vie en Rose, i would like to say how beautiful this cw looks on you! Your cw 7 has been the only other, besides my cw 28, that I have seen in person. I thought it was stunning! I was seriously tempted!:smile1:. The day I tried it on I was wearing a coral colored shirt and white jeans and somehow it looked great together. I think you will have fun with her!;) Congrats on finding her and sharing your beautiful modeling photos too! However, Katekluet had the best tips in regards to looking at the clothing in your wardrobe and making sure that you really love the cw!:smile1:!

I am finally home again after 4 weeks of travel.

I have been on the hunt for a Voyage de Pytheas ever since I first saw a pic of the design. The first few I found had very soft colors on the border, and didn't do much for me, so I kept looking for one with a deeper colors in the border. SF, HNL, NYC,Berlin, Munich and then finally scored this in Paris a few days ago!
CW 25 Cobalt/lagon/Gris

The last photo are the other scarves I picked up during the last 4 weeks. I am truly banned now!

Your group shot made me smile. We are twins with Oiseaux and cousins with Mors and of course Pytheas! I am on ban too! Ha! I am happy you had a great trip!

great colorway! That one is tempting and I can see why you searched diligently for it. My scarf drawer is awash with blue scarves; if it weren't, I'd be sorely tempted to get this cw.
BirkinLover,katekluet, Vitamina H , thank you for your comments about the Pytheas 07 (goldish yellow/lavender and beige--at least to my eyes!). I'm poking around in my closet as you suggested and the scarf is growing on me. Besides, the animals are so cute! I just tried it with an orange top, inspired by Vitamina H's comments, and liked how the Pytheas worked with it. Probably going to remain in my collection!

Seriously, la Vie en Rose, you think of returning it? This is my fav cw of this design! A keeper for sure! The golden accents are making it more 3D to me! But that's just me...
