Dear Scarfies, I am finally, finally getting around to contributing a photo! I thank all of you tPF ladies for taking the time to share so many beauties with me over the last two years! There have been so many temptations along the way! I hope cw 18 of Le Bal des Oiseaux hasn't been shown yet~this thread moves quickly! I have to add my most favorite thing about this Oiseaux. When you flip the scarf to the backside, it is just gorgy! I feel like I have 2 beauties in one:graucho:! I actually prefer the backside, as did my SA! Now, if the rain would just go away here so the little birdies could come out to play....

The first picture is the front side...

Love it when the reverse side looks good too, hoping that the sun comes out for you and your flock :D

I haven't seen this scarf posted yet.. Mors 90cm cw1

*swoon*, if there's a not-so-good cw of this scarf or shawl I have not seen it, love this one too

Brazil Indigo

Like fireworks on a midnight blue sky viewed from afar

Have you posted it in this thread, for it certainly qualifies? http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes/show-us-your-exceptional-scarves-864042.html

And here is my picture of a SS2014 scarf. I love this cw, however, I find it rather difficult to find matching outfits. And what do you think, scarfies? I would really appreciate all your style tips

I have similar colouring to you SS, this (and the softer blue) were perfect naturals for me and if can raise the funds I may get a second cw, you don't have to have an outfit that matches when your complexion and/or hair work so well. As someone already said to the outfit that you have on looks great, you've the black on tail and the muted-ness of grey also within the scarf (med muted colours work well together). You MUST keep that scarf :D

Dear tPfers,

This thread has been so inspiring with all of its beautiful pictures over the past few months. I have been out on a bit of a shopping spree myself...

Faceties de Pegase, Le Bal de Oiseaux, La Mer au Ciel and Au Coeur de la Vie.

WOW, this is a stunner

This was a sleeper hit from the men's dept for me: Kéa H552896T05

I didn't like it until I wrapped it around my neck and didn't want to remove it! It's my first men's scarf and now I'm ready for summer :)

Truly elegant, perfect for Summer

These have been posted already, but I thought I'd add some reference pics for those considering spring GSGMs, with blues and greens. These are the three I've purchased this season. :smile1: Regarding colors, the blanc in the Leila is actually a very creamy white. I think it will be especially pretty for fall. And the jaune soufre in the green Mors Remix is a bit warmer yellow, than the vert d'eau in the blue Mors Remix (which looks like vert anis/greenish yellow to me). The colors are a bit lighter than shown in my quick photos. Hope these are helpful!

From top, clockwise:
Le Jardin de Leila - 242807S 08 - Blanc/Ciel/Etoupe
Mors et Gourmettes Remix - 242811S 01 - Vert/Ciel/Jaune Soufre
Mors et Gourmettes Remix - H242811S 13 - Ciel/Blanc/Vert d'Eau

It is useful, I wouldn't know how creamy the background was from H.com pics unless I saw a comparison, love all 3 of these Summer beauties

Un Jardin sur le Toit

. . . et par terre.

BTW Madison also had a cw I hadn't seen posted or online - bright green background. Very appealing but alas not a color I can wear. But I'm sure some lucky lady can!

Cute, maybe for more niece's hmmmm

It's heeeeere!!!

I hope this will help someone make a decision in favor of this fab shawl. Very unusual color combo, with pale yellow, blue and beige in the background... and like nothing else in my scarf drawer:

Wow, that red really pops, so strong but still totally Summery

I know I rarely post these days but I do still lurk and love everybody's photos ❤️

I thought it might be useful if I posted these photos of my 2 new shawls - Mors et Gourmettes Remix cw's 03 and 18 as I haven't seen many photos of these.

Big waves to you Ali-bagpuss, you have certainly picked a couple of beauties there, lovely to see them and you

Love this thread and have been lurking since I posted about buying my first H scarf back in February. I now have three, thanks to reading posts on here. The Au Coeur de la Vie with the yellow border and De la Mer au Ciel in colour way 08, I think, are my latest purchases. Can anyone tell me the French names of these colour ways? I can't work out how else to find this out even though I have asked when ordering online for the paper tag to be left on. They have all arrived without this.

I am going to wear the De la Mer au Ciel tomorrow. What would be the best knot to use? I live in the UK and it is supposed to be sunny tomorrow and I am planning to wear it with a simple white tee and jeans outfit. Hopefully it will help to cheer me up. I have a chronic illness and am hoping to be well enough to go out as I haven't been outside the house for a week!

I am so glad that I found this forum, although I don't think that my bank account is! I can't tell anyone in RL that I have Hermes scarves as they would probably have a fit at the expense. But I have fallen in love with them :D

This is beautiful! And thank you for the tip with flipping the scarf over, I would never thought about doing it but it really gives 2 scarves in 1!!!

Thank you Bibivi! That is so kind of you to share my enthusiasm:D! I was so stoked about this 2 sided birdie! Actually, I was so excited I decided to join tPF to share this after years of lurking!

Thank you for posting these beauties! I adore Mors, especially the CW 03! Congrats!

Thank you so much Papertiger! This is my first white background scarf and I was so elated to discover this! I am hoping the sun comes out, and stays out, very soon. This rain is beginning to drive me craaaaazy!!!

Dear HermesHope,

Congratulations on your scarf purchases! Someone here is bound to enlighten you soon on the exact color names. I'm looking forward to seeing some modeling pics.

Enjoy your silk lovelies, relax, take care!

Thank you so much, Markova. Not sure about modelling pics as I am so ill and also hopeless with a camera!

Dear "Sister",

I have a chronic illness myself and I can asure you that to be sorrounding by beauty helps to go out of bed each morning,

I'm cousins with you with your two purchases and every time I wear them, even witha simple white shirt and jeans or black trousers .. I feel proud of myself for choosing quality over quantity and even my steps are more "charming"..

It's money were spending and this forum it's like a big sisterhood
Enjoy them !!!!

Regards from Barcelona !!!

Off-topic, but would just like to send a virtual hug to the ladies and gents struggling with chronic health conditions. Please come to tPF whenever you can for some pretty pictures and distracting frivolity, and I hope for more and more "feeling well" days for each of you. :hugs:

Thanks a lot Mindi,

It sound like a cliche but really focusing in sth as beautiful as a Hermès silk really helps.. just the beauty of colors, the planning for the next purchase, the saving... every moment its unique.. and after that "playing" with your existing wardrobe... it really helps..and I feel so happy to belong to this forum.. it's like chatting with friends.. Wow I'm getting quite sentimental about it.. sorry ladies!!!

Never mind the pics, just swathe yourself in your scarves--silk is so very soothing. Hope you will feel better!

Thank you again. Yes, the quality of the silk is wonderful. I often get them out of their boxes and just drape them on the bed around me!

Yes, I love reading this forum and follow all of the scarf threads. I have so many cheap scarves and had not realised how amazing the H ones are until I opened my first box. I have to buy online as I can't get to a store, so this forum has really helped with choosing the colours. Mind you, I am drawn to the bright ones as these are so cheerful, even if they may not suit me the best. I have no idea what suits me now as I don't really look like myself any more.

Best wishes,
Anny
