Hi Pazdzernika, Dip dyes are notoriously had to capture, so the photos can be misleading! It looked pretty in the case, but once on, I realized it was predominantly electric blue. So much so, I don't even remember the green portions. The overall impression really was electric blue. I don't remember feeling it was turquoise, but perhaps someone was thinking of a very dark shade of turquoise?

Electric blue? Never would have expected that. When I was in the boutique the other day the girl ringing me up was wearing the most beautiful green-blue dip dye. I couldn't really make out the pattern but assumed it was CeC cw2 because I thought SAs usually wear 90s from the current collection. Hmm...now I'm curious what she was wearing. Maybe it was brandebourgs...

Ladies if I may interject, I have been looking at the CeC dip dye for several months now. I have been waiting for the 06 to come into my store. However I've been able to try on the other cws and 07, though it didn't jump out at me on the computer screen, was a gorgeous blue gray in real life that made me glow! If the electric blue is too much for you, this one may be up your alley. I am actually thinking of returning my very similar blue concours d'etriers dip dye for the pink CdE and picking up the CeC in blue gray instead. Hope that helps!

Oh, and I have a green blue dip dye -Aloha- from two seasons ago That i love. Might that be the 90 your SA wore?

Oh goodie! Thanks, perfumegirl1! I was looking at cw7 and thought it looked like a pretty pale blue-grey, as you described. That's exactly how it looks on my screen but it's listed under purple so I thought that maybe it would read differently in person.

So funny you brought up the DD CdE because that was my plan, too! If I wound up with CeC 7 I would get the pink cw of CdE! (Whew, lots of abbrevs there.)

Hi Padzernika! Between the pink and blue, what are your thoughts on which should be the larger silk color and which you'd pick for the 90cm? I keep wavering back and forth and I know I cannot come home with four scarves. That would be tough to hide from hubs for one shopping trip.

Because of my colouring (warm, olive) I lean towards pink. I know it would be used more frequently so, if I only could get 1 90 and 1 140, I would get the 90 blue and the 140 pink. I would pick my fave colour in the 140 only because it costs significantly more. My actual plan, though, is probably going to end up with a pink in each size and the blue 90. ;). DH knows if it's pink it's coming home with me.

Though, I'm one of those weird people that doesn't like having more than one cw of the same design. I'm not THAT in love with either design - I just love the DD pink. With the exception of waiting for the Caleche Elastique and the Oiseux (sp?) ones to surface, I think I'm done with this season already. Not too many designs really caught my eye. Is it too soon to wonder about the AW 2014 scarves? 😛
