Firstly, thanks all for the Equateur love!!! It really is a fantastic piece that I feel fortunate to have located - summer silks seems so elusive.

To answer some questions posted to me about the scarf: it is a 140cm summer silk (so very light silk). I would love to model but considering I'm pretty down with the flu and looking all sorts of grim, the only thing I can manage to model is fleece and flannel ;). However, two other ladies (Yakirah / Merrydish) have/will have this ... any luck getting either of you two ladies (or both) to model? I'll snap a shot as soon as I get myself together one of these days...

Merrydish, I would also love to see the white one if you decide to take it. I had hoped it would be more neutral/earth toned, but I'm very curious to see the gray/blue take on the design.

Regarding, Les Bolides, I know very little...sorry. Just wanted to share the design.

And now to the book...no stories. Just photos. And a summary set of pages in the back, naming the designs used in the photos. Per request, I took some pics of the book to share. Not the whole book, but just enough to give everyone an idea of what it is. If people want more details, better shots or the rest of the book, let me know.

...and so on until the last two pages, with a summary:

thank you! Any signs in there of my beloved mousselines??

...and specially for Etoile de Mer, who asked about the Quadrige Dip Dyes, another page, plus close up. I love how copper it looks in these photos:

Thanks for all the pics you have posted, congrats on your Equateur!
Do you have the ref.nr for Equateur (I know it ends with s18?)
and do you know the ref.nr for this Quadrige dip dye too?

Sorry, but I am really hating the sportif theme this year. That t-shirt scarf is a biiiiig yawn, IMO. Told my DH that most of this season's offerings weren't doing it for me; he says "YAAAAAAAAAAY!" :p

Hey Mindi! Understand but it is funny, isn't it? The Year of India was a wonderful silk year although I have NO connectivity to India at all. I don’t travel there and am embarrassingly ill-informed of the imperial and I am sure fascinating illustrious history and culture of India. The Year of Travel should have been a good year for me but yet nothing much thrilled me to the core that year. The Year of Time, last year, while DH loves H times pieces, was only a moderate year of me. But this year, although I am terribly uncoordinated and not in the least bit sporty; I have fallen in love with many S/S designs and reissues. Go Figure. I don’t play tennis but the tennis T shirt seems fresh and fun to me.
Love Pique Fleuri. Love the Bateaux. Love the 70cms this year. Even the Golf 70cm which is a cool issue in the 70cm in interesting and unexpected CWs with an overall geometric dynamic that is very attractive and looks FAB on. Love the Amour Cheval, the Coach 70cms.
Like the Summer Twills in the GM format.
So to sum: I have no connection whatsoever to India but I love many of the India Year designs, "Beloved India" may be my ALL time favorite. So because I don’t live the sporting life, is it wrong to love the sport themed scarves? Can I just pretend?

***** I would love to see the rest of the pictures!

Please post them if you can, thanks!

Of course it's not wrong, TT! And I suspect as I see our fabulous members rocking some of these scarves, I may find myself warming to them! I am happy that others are happy; I was just whinging on my own behalf. As my DH pointed out, it's actually a GOOD thing (for our wallets) that all of us don't like everything all the time!
ETA: I, too, have no particular connection to India but love "Beloved India." I, personally, adore the elephant toes, though I know some members find them a bit freaky!

If loving the sporting life scarves is wrong...you don't want to be right! :D

I am liking the season pretty well myself...especially since I know Chasse d'Inde and Quadridge are coming in mousseline stoles! But I am not as nuts as I was over my beloved SS11 season or even SS12. And that's good, I need an ambivalent season!!

tresorchic and Julianf - beautiful choices.
The Graff is quite trendy with gorgeous colors and Equateur is such a classic with the classiest colors
IMHO, two extremes equally gorgeous.
Congrats to both of you.

Thank you, Juda. I just adore all nautre-themed scarves and this Equateur will be loved and worn for eternity! I also have a gm silk cashmere Equateur from 20 years ago in a fab deep seafoam green border with a neutral interior and brilliantine-colored birds and realisticalloy-colored fauna and flora. As for the Graff shawl - I'm also most interested but need to find one without white letters or border areas. Jewel tones are a "must." We shall see. I'm also trying to learn how to post photos to share with my fellow TPFrs. Deep learning curve, here. Enjoy all!!!
