This season is looking fairly uninspired. As others have mentioned, the shoes are downright awful. As far as the scarves go, H is not giving us much to work with.
Those tennis scarves look like something from a country club tennis shop, circa 1975...

I've got Echec on my list, but nothing else at the moment. The border of Bateaux is wonderful, but it doesn't seem quite right with the boats in the field, perhaps it will look better in a different cw. Much remains to be seen, but I sense that overall this will be a dud of a season. I expect I'll save some money this year, which isn't a bad thing...

Same for me - at the moment no scarf on my list :nogood: same as next season I don' buy any :graucho:

hope Hermes is not becoming just "commercial" with the scarves :nono:

The cws I have seen of the Echec although nice, are safe yawners. Not for 1300USD. I prefer unexpected cws from Hermes.

Has anyone seen Pique Fleuri?
This is the only S/S 2013 GM design that I have not seen, as Ceintures, Graff, and Grande Tenue are all reissues.

Monceau, I think I saw this one a week or so ago-- must've been it, as the SA said it was SS2013 and it had tiny flowers all over it. I'm afraid I just peered at it folded up in the drawer and didn't ask her to pull it out. The background color seemed really beautiful-- some sort of dark teal, I think. I wish I could remember more about it.

I am also waiting for pics Pique Fleuri de Provence, I hope it's as beautiful as the flowers of the region. I really can't see anything else so far for SS13 although I don't mind adding a couple more from this season (AW 12) even though I have exceeded my limit already with 5 (or is it 6?) already :smash:.

Also the 70s, I love my 70s.

I usually like retro scarves but I'm not feeling some of these. Quadridge options still sound promising...

I know- it has to be either a truly beautiful neutral or a flashy outrageous cw on a grail design- why else buy Hermes at these prices? You can buy similar color scarves at dept. stores for a fraction of the cost.

That's my philosophy anyway.

I'm holding out hope for pique fleuri, but not much else interests me.
I do like the Echec, but I will need to see it opened out in various cws to make up my mind.Graff might be interesting, but I hate the idea of wrapping myself in such a large Label. It doesn't seem possible that the large format will allow one to avoid showing a large "HERMES" somewhere in the mix. Being a walking billboard is not my style. Tennis racquets and golf clubs should be left to Lily Pulitzer and J Crew. As I said earlier, some of these designs look like bad Country Club attire from the 70's. Does anyone else think some of these choices seem odd for a brand with an international focus? Where is the imagination and fantasy we have come to expect from Hermes?

I'm hoping that this is just an off season and not a harbinger of things to come.

Monceau

ITA so far.

I also can't imagine myself wrapped in huge Hermes Graffiti although I would love to be proved wrong in an irresistible cw.

I have a feeling there have been other seasons that I have not been interested in at first only to discover something a little 'out-the-way' later. In addition, due to lateness of supply, I haven't even seen a single Galop Chromatique 90 yet, rather strange considering it was the choice for the '12 Christmas box. In a way I welcome these seasons as a way of keeping-up too.
