Wow, lasers! I love the mix of old style craft with high precision modern technologies.
Sadly the scarf design and the too-regular laser perforations don't put the scarf on the hit list for me but I love, love, love the concept. And the laser treatment would indeed melt the silk at the edges so there will be no fraying nightmares.

Sorry about any trouble with the links Chestnutty but I can definitely still see the links. I don't think Hermes would have much influence over the website of individual fashion bloggers, especially as the point of a Press Day is to herald the arrival of the new season's styles.

I believe the scarf with all the wildlife was identified in the Press Day 2013 thread as Equator which is expected to be a summer twill? I'd buy it just for the expression on the sloth's face.

I didn't think the Les Bolides reissue would be for me but at first glance the border of springs looks great and I think would look really interesting tied. And I'm not finished with Autumn/Winter 2012 yet - oh dear!

I must check out the expression on the sloth's face, Les Tambours. A cute panda, sloth, or y*k can be irresistible.

My SA tells me that the piece below is an "exceptional" piece. It is a GM sized patchwork of Mythiques Phoenix, Cavalcadour, and Kimonos ex Libris. It looks like the squares are bound with either beads or sequins.
