Ooooh TT, I love this cw of spinnakers!! Uh oh, I'm scared to see your cw of Imprimeur Fou.. I almost picked one up the other day but I was already getting a LdT shawl and another PF shawl and 2 moussies and the giant quadrisge DD that I could NOT pick up another item!! Lol ;) Ok, please show anyways!! :)

Oh jp, we are true sisters! After picking up some moussies at the rate of one/week in Mar, I decided to go on ban island. But when my SA called me to pick up my Birkin, I immediately jumped out of my sick bed & got to H at Olympic speed. On my way to find my SA, I caught sight of a customer at the silk counter trying on cw1 of Coup de Fouet , a 90 silk whose cws I own 2. I then pulled my SA aside, whispered into her ear that should the customer not buy it, I would be happy to pick it up. Then from the corner of my eye I saw another cw of the Coup de Fouet moussie, of course I had it reserved until I was thru' with the purse business. It was at this moment I realized my fever had gone or I wouldn't be that mentally alert!

Of course I bought the B offered to me. Ï was about to buy BOTH the moussie & 90silk. But my SA decided to reserve them for me & if I still desired them after sleeping on them, I should call her. It seems my SA has more discipline than me!:smile1:

Arabesques inspired me to wear my quadridge DD today :) with my jade Clic (also from last week's haul). This was at the pediatrician's office this morning :). Hence DS photobombing in the back :)

Arabesques and other ladies: is it normal for the tags on the dip dye to be sewed on the wrong side.. As in, on the print/exposed side, vs on the reverse side. So when I wore it as I don't take these care tags off, it was sticking out. I had to use double sided tape to keep it down. Is that normal? Does that make sense? I was wondering if it could've possibly been sewn on wrong. All my silk have the tag sewn opposite of the rolled up side which is always the print side. (This is my first DD, so I'm not sure if its different). TIA for any info :)

After a good night's sleep, I finally came to my senses. I didn't get either the moussie or the 90 silk. Or maybe getting my first B instantly woke me up. Like most level-headed tpfers here, I got a neutral-etain-to be my first B.

Now that I am done with this B-business, I am focusing on the upcoming Africa & karnak moussie. Hope to see them soon!:p

i picked an AN summer twill c/w 04 and a matching karo in kiwi! they had a few colors for the karo but i thought kiwi was rare, different + fun! i was surrounded by soufre as well, karo then evelyne + jige but both bags were epsom and i love chèvre + clemence :D - also, the store was filled with foreign tourists who were having a field day with less than stellar manners - i felt so bad for SA's.....

i think i love AP + kiwi but i did have a moment when i got home that i went off the deep end of a bright color pool! i'll post pics in summer thread, let me know what you think!

any scarf i have ever bought has stood the test of time, i wonder if this one will??

i did look at mexique really quick again and it of course matched kiwi karo - hehe but perhaps next time?!?!

now do tell, what did YOU end up with?

Thx palmbeachpink! It's the old-fashioned etain togo + PHW combination! I hope to become K Lee in the near future. Really want a red one with GHW. BUT SA says GHW is hard to come by. Probably become D(ead) Lee before I get one!:D

Hi palmbeachpink. Today at H, I saw AN cw04 for the first time. Love it. But I decided against it because I don't want any silk around my neck when the temp becomes over 30 degrees in summer! But what a lovely scarf! I may still reconsider it later in the season!

U won't regret your epsom. This leather was my first choice for B. Light weight, stiff & durable. The only hiccup is that occasionally it may look plasticky! But to me, it never seems plastic!
