Just got the Promenade au Faubourg in b&w&red today. I just took it out of the box and threw it on a b&w shirt with a very small houndstooth pattern. Seemed to work out ok. It's a bigger pattern than Ors bleus d'Afrique in b&w so it "fights" b&w jackets with their own bold patterns.

This hits the bulls-eye! Fantastic styling, eagle. Congrats on a super cool and fun scarf with superb contrasts in color paired with the houndstooth. Rock on!

Loving my new abre de vie twillies . Totally brighten up my black lindy.

This is fabulouls tres! I had the only one of these San Francisco recieved and a woman grabbed it out of my hands. No lie. There was only one and I too wanted a set of twillies to brighten up my Alezan Birkin. I bought Psyche with a violet Carmen. Can't wait to take her out. Isn't it amazing what a bit of color will do?

Would love your opinions on these 2 scarfs. I think the colours are fairly similar and if I only could choose one...which would you suggest?

Sophiac - I have seen both in real life and IMO if you have to buy only one for each design, you should get the Promenade in cw4 - it ties beautifully, and, for the beautiful Ors Bleus d'afrique, you may want to consider cw 15 (purple). When I was comparing side by side between the cw7 and cw15 of the OBdA, the stained glass effect in the purple cw is definitely more mesmerizing. Or, if you want something more subtle and soft, cw1 (with a rose poudre background) of the OBdA is definitely the go-to cw.

Sophiac, Chestnut is right on the money. I agree. The cw of Afrique is muted and I think you have some scarves that fit this category. The brighter cw of Promenade is so crispt and young and alive. Go for this one!
