Does anyone live in a city and feel like they can’t use their classic speedys because of purse snatchers and robberies?

I have a Speedy B and I don’t use my luxury bags if I’m going to worry. In Florida, I feel ‘safe’ using my bags. I think there are enough knockoffs that perhaps others think mine is fake

I don’t know if I am ready to sport my Speedy in LA. Im fine where I live and other places. I am just cautious to not look like I have money though when I am in LA.

I live in the SF area and I don't wear my NF, Speedy, PM, or nano speedy for this reason if I'm alone running errands. Suuucks, to spend money and not feel safe wearing them tho.

I live in philly and I’ve personally seen a purse get ripped off someone as they were walking. It wasn’t a designer bag but still scary. I have a lot of bags I would love to use but wish I could get over the fear of being targeted for them.

Florida is safe, I live in Philly and that is a different story with safety.

I am trying to complain because I used it twice and it looks like it is fading even more. I’m so upset. I took it in to the store and the manager said she doesn’t see it.

Are you within 30 days? They need to take it back.

I live in Austin, Texas and feel safe carrying my LV's and other bags. I think it really depends on what city and/or part of town one is in. I'm also pretty tall and not petite which I think skews how I view safety. That's not to say I couldn't be a victim, but I'm not likely the first to be profiled. I also grew up in larger cities so Austin feels pretty safe to me.

Florida is safe, I live in Philly and that is a different story with safety.

I was raised in Miami and learned to consider everyone potentially suspicious. When I visit, I usually take an epi bag since it’s less noticeable than monogram. I reside in Central Florida, and things are much slow paced.

Hi, just want to share my Speedy 35. Dropped off in December and received 2 days ago. I should have asked to replace the inside but I didn’t, maybe next time. Also, one of the handle showed wrinkle though.

I kinda like that you (maybe inadvertently) kept the original interior. It gives an otherwise refreshed bag some original character. Enjoy!
