I just picked up a (better quality than I originally purchased) Gucci inspired shoulder strap for this bag. I got it with silver hardware like the bag. I think the red/green color combo looks better; well for me anyway. I just received it today. Took off the blue strap. Will use it for another bag. Don’t know which one though.

I really like it with the red/green strap. It matches the bag whereas the blue one is a random addition to me.

I just bought a vintage speedy 35 on fashionphile (from 1989!) The description mentioned cracks on the exterior but didn’t say where specifically and I couldn’t see any in the picture. It should arrive Monday and I plan to throughly look it over, but, I’m curious where it could be common to find cracks so I can really check those areas. I don’t want any cracked canvas. Anyone with some knowledge? Thanks so much!

I’ve seen cracks on the piece of canvas by the zipper. Or underneath the leather tabs. Hopefully these descriptions make sense.

Sometimes it’s cracks on the Vachetta handles.

I purchased a vintage speedy that had cracks on the handles and the zipper pull was barely hanging in. I had all the Vachetta replaced and it is basically a new bag with wonderful thick canvas. It’s my favorite Bag!

Thank you. I think I got lucky. I stalked the website (US) and all of a sudden it appeared. I checked out immediately.

I’ll try to stalk the website but I think there’s a very low possibility it pops up in Italy, compared to US

The only time I saw it pop up was when I snatched it up. Haven’t seen it since. As a matter of fact when I called CS for another matter, they looked at my history and congratulated me because she couldn’t believe I got that bag stating it’s been out of stock all over the country.
