The Speedy B 2011 Model Club

I'm finally in with the 35! I bought mine as a college graduation gift to myself in OR last month to save the sales tax. It was the only one in the store and was unfortunately MIU with the cloth tag.

I accepted it as it was brand new but there was a green mark on the side near the rivet! The SA was so nice, worked on it with the eraser and totally understood if I didn't want it. Afterwards it was basically gone aside from a tiny speck. She said it was probably a mark from the machine from putting in the rivet. I was very sad about it but if I had left the bag, the next person would not have known there was a mark at all.

Although I'm still slightly disappointed, I love it so much and want to wear it more despite the rainy weather here!

I think you look absolutely stunning! Also my bag even if new has a little mark, it's blackish/dark and at first I was quite disappointed since I noticed it after the purchase, but it is so small and now I think that it just makes my bag even more special. When the vacchetta takes some tan I guess it'll just vanish inside the honey color, it's so light. I mean I know it's there but it really doesn't bother me anymore.. I just love the bag more and more every day.

I wish you a lot of happy days with your bag, you are really very beautiful and the bag is gorgeous.

Hi! U rock this bag! Which size is it?

Hi - and thanks! This is the Speedy 30 (MIF) and I think it's the perfect size for everyday. We took a trip to Paris in June and I got the Speedy 35 in the Monogram. I've been carrying the 35 every day for the past couple of weeks and it may not seem like it's that much bigger when you look at the measurements, but it is Much bigger. Once I'm over being completely in LVoe with the 35 I bought in Paris - I'll switch back to the Damier 30 as my "go to" daily purse. Decisions, Decisions ps I'm 5'2" for reference

thank you! I am 5'7" =) I liked the 30, but I think the 35 looks more proportionate to my size.

But I've a big dilemma...I can't decide between the DE or the Mono one....I never had a DE handbag and I'd love to buy my first one, however I've just read about peeling and craking issues, so I'm a little bit scared about that.
I already have an Artsy in Mono and I did not have big issues even though the vacchetta is very delicate.
I don't know if it's relevant, but I'm from Italy so probably I'll get a MIF Speedy.
Any advice? What would you do in my place? TIA

That's so fantastic! My advice is to try them both on, you're gonna feel it in your heart. When you try them, you're gonna feel which one is the right for you, even if the choise is not going to be easy The quality of the speedy b in de seemed ok to me, and actually I was wondering if the cracking issue has to do more with neverfull than speedy.. don't know, but the handles in speedy seemed really good. I got the mono and really don't regret it at all, anzi. I imagined myself in different situations with both of them and found out that personally in speedy b version the mono was better choise for me. I really love them both, and next week I'm gonna get the speedy (not b though) in DE. For those rainy days in Milan in autumn

Let us know what choise you ended up with, you can't go wrong with either one of them, they are both just so beautiful bags.

I vote for the DE since you already have a mono bag. I just bought the DE myself
