Ok one question....to those who have the speedy b mono. I'm not sure when this bag came out so I don't know if there's been enough time for the vachetta to change. But I'm curious how the side leather straps age...

Mine is new to me but not a new bag, it has a very nice honey color to it. I think it will age nicely and since I barely use the handles they won't get the really dark black color some speedy's can get.

Hi. I've had my mono speedy b since January and I use it just about every day. I personally love the leather on the sides and love watching it all tan together. It just keeps getting better looking ;). I do not use my straps at all though. Only hand held. I personally find it awkward and uncomfortable as a shoulder or cross body ;(. And I would love the just leave the strap hanging but to me it's a little long. I wanted to get just one or two more holes put into the strap but I asked LV and they said they refuse to do any modifications to their bags. So now I just have straps hanging around-not being used. But love the look of the leather on the sides!

I am back in this club...after getting the DE and returning it due to the gaps at the end of the zipper. I just cannot stand it anymore, I HAVE to have this bag! So she will soon be in my possession again. :yahoo:

Thank you so much :) I got it at the Champs Élysées store but it was so stressful as a first time experience and the SAs were all busy. That store is scary. But I knew what I wanted :D so i just ended up finding the cashier. It's a perfect travel bag! I bought it the first day so I could use it as such. Next time I am going to another location there.
