I note two things about this one: the 30 is imprinted on this one (yay) and the strap isn't 1" wide. The customer service people online and on the phone have sworn up and down the straps are 1" wide on the bandouliere, but the gosh darn thing is 2cm wide (which is 0.787inches... a tad more than 3/4") But, anyway, the alternative is an ebene shoulder strap 1.6cm wide which is still narrower. So, meh.

Here's my 2 weeks old speedy b 25 i put pair of twilly because i know i'll sweat alot today [emoji4][emoji4]

I had him add one hole on each side. It gave an inch to each side. I practically only wear it cross body since it slips off my shoulder. I think the DE tends to do that where as the vachetta stays on your shoulder ( from my experience). I definitely recommend getting the holes put in if you like the bag. There is not a day that goes by that I don't tell my husband how much I love my bag!;)

Does the new model with the zippered pocket have a shorter strap?

I'm not sure. I purchased mine in early November and it doesn't have the zipper. I'd probably never zip it anyway since the opening is so small. Doesn't fit my iPhone 6plus.

Thanks... I had a preloved 30 b which I sold and didn't find the pocket terrible useful either... I also have the iPhone 6 plus which I just keep in a neverfull pochette when using a bag without a pocket. Am considering the 25 b in DA as a summer/ vacation bag... Any input on this idea would be greatly appreciated!!

The neverfull pouch is a REALLY tight fit on a speedy 25, you kinda need to pull the zip around to get the pouch in.
