Do you still like your mono speedy b?

absolutely love it, the only thing I don't like about the B compared to regular speedy is the double zip.. it can sometimes be a little uncomfortable to unzip, I think i really love the leather tab to pull on, makes the whole opening and closing of the bag soo smooth =p but thats me being reallllly picky, other than that, probably one of my favourite bags hth! xo

I have the DE 30. The excess from the straps stick out, since I need the extender to use it cross body, but keep it at the first hole otherwise it would be too short (does this make sense?)

What do you all think about wrapping a scarf around the extender to keep the excess from getting caught on stuff? Would it look silly?

I love this bag, been carrying it since I bought it, so I just want to make sure I don't ruin the straps.

I know what you mean about the ends of the strap sticking out and it's bothered me some too, but only aesthetically. To be honest I'd have to see a scarf around it to know if it looks good. I would think it would be in an odd spot. Can you post a pic?

I will this weekend. Been trying to find a scarf that isn't too short or too long. If I used a big one it was quite bulky.

I'm in! Here's my Speedy B 30 in DE MIU and mini pochette! Love, love, love!
My SA would not recommend those clear plastic base shapers. She said use a magazine (People, OK, Us Weekly or something similar) to retain the integrity of the shape/structure of the bag. Soooo what I did is....I wrapped a magazine in one of the LV dust bag and it works just fine.

My SA would not recommend those clear plastic base shapers. She said use a magazine (People, OK, Us Weekly or something similar) to retain the integrity of the shape/structure of the bag. Soooo what I did is....I wrapped a magazine in one of the LV dust bag and it works just fine.

Congrats!!! This is a good idea. I am really wanting a speedy b . Not sure if i am going to get mono or DE but one thing i do not like is a sag. I have an orgaizer that i use but do not like how it kind of pulls up on the sides of the speedy bag. If that makes sinse. Do you know why your SA said no to base shapers? Or is it just the clear ones ? tia!

I probably should pick a different color scarf. Lol. It does seem like it's in an odd spot but it is nice that the strap that sticks out is no longer in the way for me.

Wish the little band that's on one end to keep the strap down was on the other end too.

I asked my SA the same thing about that a couple weeks ago and she told me you can order one of the small bands to put on the end of the other strap for about $35 plus tax.

She was referring to the "hard" base shapers in general or ones that are not flexible and does not conform or follow shape of the bag.

Aww ok i see ..Thanks! I dont think it makes the speedy bulky at all . Maybe a tiny bit heavier but not much to feel the difference . I think I weighed it once and it was like a few ounces. lol. Thanks for the pic. looks great! I went to LV today to try the speedy b on and loved it! I will probably go back in a few weeks to get one. Right now I am leaning towards the Mono one. But I still love the DE one also. I think i just love the idea of having a mono speedy in my collection since I dont own one.

Oh yes. I know those base shapers. I will stay away from them..lol. I hear you about Vachetta. It scares me to but something about a monogram speedy just is gorgeous imo. I dont feel the base shaper makes the bag bulky unless you really really stuff it. Not heavy either. Thanks for the pic! Good idea. I will keep that in mind. Now if i can just make up my mind on a speedy size 30 or 35?..lol

omg to die for!!!! love it. I was not sure about the bandouliere but now I really like it!!!
