I bought the lumi in infini, it was too heavy IMO, gorgeous bag but heavy. I was going to wait for the emp speedy 30 but its nice change of pace since I didn't own a 25. It's kinda nice having a smaller bag for a change. And, it helps i got this bag for 40% off retail!
This is what I keep in it. Everything fits nicely, with room to spare

Check it out again, I think everyone that has it is very happy with it
I carry a foldable small tote inside it in case I shop and need a larger bag, works out nicely 
I can't comment on the sully or portobello as I don't have them, but probably others in the various clubs here will have opinions and maybe some YouTube videos will help. If you have young children and decide on the speedy then definitely get the Speedy B as the strap will be a huge help. My children are teens but I still have to carry a big bag as they'll often ask me to carry their wallets, bottle of water, etc at the shops. It never ends!

Where are all the speedy b 25's?! Reeeeeeallly eyeing this bag since I already have a regular speedy 30 (not sure if I want to sell or not)
Hi, I personally prefer Speedy 35 B (especially the DE) for everyday and travelling mainly because I carry a lot (cosmetic bags, an ipad, mini agenda, sarah wallet, hand lotion, face spray, an umbrella) and found it easier to get stuff in and out without worrying about going rough with the bag and you still have some space left for other stuff (scarf, cardi etc).
I carried it on long haul flights with 1-2 hours transit stop that require passengers to disembark the plane. It was perfect. I carry a lot when I travel (Air or Land) so the size was perfect for me. I had my notebook, kindle, ipad, make up, travelling skin care sets (toner, moisturiser, eye cream etc). I suppose the 35 would be a better travelling bag (imho).
I have a monogram Speedy 30 (without strap) and the recently bought Mono Idylle Speedy B 30. Imo the 30 is an alright size if you don't have a lot to carry everyday. the opening is rather small if you have big stuff to fit in and take out. I remembered getting frustrated getting my things out of my Speedy Mono 30 that I dont often carry it. The reason why I got the Idylle Speedy B 30, despite the size, is because of its material (something different than those I always ended up purchasing) and for other occasions. Although I personally prefer 35 over 30 there are times when you don't want to carry a 35 say to a casual dinner with friends or a short shopping spree or a picnic.
If you carry an ipad everyday 25 might be a bit too small. Have you considered a Speedy B?
I think the Galliera PM is a bit smaller than 35 maybe equal in terms of space if you were to compare it with 30. The good thing about Galliera is I think the opening, it might be easier to get stuff in and out of Galliera plus its gorgeous. Even though I have one I still turn my head whenever I see someone else carrying it
I carry Speedy B 35 DE almost everyday (when I dont alternate it with other bags with shoulder strap) and when I travel and have never experienced the strap cutting into my shoulder. It might have left some red marking on my shoulder but they didn't hurt. I think this is because I carry heavy stuff everyday otherwise you should fine.

. It sounds like the opening will be more of a concern than strap.
I just want to post a mini rave about my Speedy B DE 30.
I purchased mine in the UK in June 2012 on the release date (Manchester store). I moved to Montreal, Canada July 2012 temporarily. I have worn this bag everyday, no kidding everyday since I've been here and it has held up beautifully.
This is the first time I am living in up to -30 conditions with snow storms, and I have worn this in the worst weather, brutal conditions. I wear it cross body when I want to put my gloved hands in my pockets when it's cold. ! Not a single mark or a scratch, the leather is beautiful and has not creased either. My heat-stamp is intact also, not a single fade... ALSO... with age my bag canvas has become more loose so my iPad in it's Marc Jacobs iPad case fits even easier...I usually take the strap off when I go out in the evening (to the movies or to dinner) and wear the bag on my arm. I simply fold the strap and put it into my bag. It couldn't be more perfect.
But my 2 mini qualms:
1) Sometimes the buckle on the strap that rests on your shoulder can dig and hurt a bit, but with a little adjustment it's fine!
2) Wearing my bag cross-body a lot squishes the bag from the back when it hits my bum, so it has like my bum imprint in the back from the squash if the bag is not completely full. If you do fill the bag up completely however and wear it cross body it looks bulky and uncomfortable against your body because of the shape.
But! I wouldn't trade it for the world. Mine looks brand new and I wear it out in icy rain/snow etc.... if anyone is reading this thinking about purchasing one - DON'T! sure it's expensive but this bag but wow! My first designer bag and I'm hooked...
