Love it!!! I love the clochette you have. I ordered mine and I should receive it next week. So excited! :-)
It's summer for you now? Lucky! Where I live is snowy and cold.

Yeah so far it hasn't bothered me or gotten in my way, but it's definitely a thought....I've become obsessed with my speedy b. I need one in mono one day now. Ahh man.

I know this is from a couple pages back, but I'd really like to ask, how the patina got to be so dark on your bag? I thought the speedy b didn't come out until 2 years ago.

I'm still new to LV so I'm learning lots on this forum. I know I want a speedy b, and my heart leans towards the mono but I worry A LOT about all the vachetta. How high-maintenance is a mono bag with untreated leather? I tend to be quite absent minded, and I know I'll obsess over not getting the bag dirty - all this would just give me headaches. I like that print over the DE though! I love the honey-color patina, but that darker area on the handles... is that dirt or soil?

Hi! Great questions! I purchased my speedy B in 2011 and my piece was a display piece, the last at my local LV Store. I too was reluctant to purchase it only because it wasn't brand new, possibly bee tried on by others, and my patina process had already began (it was still light but it had already been under lights so it started to patina). Against my better judgement I still purchased it because i wanted a Mono piece in my growing collection. I wanted to increase my patina process though, so I would let my piece sun bath for a minimum of an 1 hour a day. I used my piece a lot and it was always handheld went in use. I've cleaned my piece many a times and that's how my hands are remaining. I love it! Sorry! it's aging very well in my eyes. Seeing it in real life would probably be pics than my crappy pics. I'm not interested on my piece looking like anyone else's I.e brand new, lightly patina'd. I want it darker and its the oils from my various lotions, colognes, etc. I'm also a Guy so that could be a factor as far as Look. I clean my pieces as often as I can but, I'm very pleased with the look of my piece. If your the type to constantly worry about a darker patina or something of that sort I just recommend you monitor your piece and nurse it through its patina stages. Hope that's helps.
