Hi everyone! I've been browsing TPF for so long and I finally had the guts to join in! I had my Speedy B 30 last July and I'm just super in love with her! It's so nice to see everyone rocking their speedy b's, ya'll look great! 
Yes. Charms do add to the bag. I love looking at everyone's charms. Mine is actually from "fossil". Thought it was neat that the charm resembles Louie's le fleur. I also have the lock on the handle with it... not sure if I want it there or on the zipper pull?
I like the height of your bag drop... do you mind if I ask which hole you have your strap at and if you are using the extra strap, and what your height is? Thanks.

I just use the two extra strap without the additional extender.
I use the second hole ...
I am petit 157 cm...
