Yeah, this bag is just awkward. I've been carrying it every day for the past few days, and I've given up trying to get it to fold or slouch, and the magnet doesn't work at all.

Plus, mine if leaking red glue out of all of it's folds and creases and even the thread holes. I posted pics here:

If they offer an exchange I"m not even sure I'm going to want one. I had high hopes for this bag, but it's kind of letting me down. I really like how it looks folded over, but it just doesn't stay that way. I'm trying to be patient, though, because my Delightful folds in so nicely and is super slouchy and hobo-ish, but it took a few months of carrying before it got soft enough to really carry well.
Your pictures are great ~ sorry to hear this bag is not working out as well as you hoped! Is the canvas comparable to the Sully, or even thicker? I am wondering why it won't slouch.

It's really thick canvas.
Ok ~ thanks! Most of my everyday bags are hobos, so I was excited to see this one in person. The canvas does look pretty thick in the picture, and with all of the less than enthusiastic reviews, I think I will focus on the Portobello for my next purchase. :)

It is always helpful to hear everyone's experiences ~ thanks for sharing ladies!

I love this bag! The handle is detachable, so if the vachetta gets too dirty I can get a replacement :D. It fits so much, I'm using it as my everyday bag so it carries my laptop. Just gorgeous, the slouch is perfect. I've played around with clipping the handle on the outside as well, very cool.

It's sad the Soffi is getting a bad rap, I think she's gorgeous and my slouches exactly like the photo on the website.

someone needs to show me how to slouch it! LOL

No matter what I do, I can only get one side to stay down..I can't get them both to lay down. I've given up and have just been carrying it like a big rectangle.

It looks cute when you attach the magnet while it's standing up, though.

Are you enjoying your Soffi bag now? I think I missed it on the main thread, but how did the issue with the red (glue?) turn out for you? Did you exchange your bag?

I looked at this one last week ~ it is really pretty IRL and I am a huge fan of hobos.

I haven't had a chance to take it in to have it looked at. It's still all pink, but doesn't seem to be getting worse..lol

I carry it every day, still working at trying to get it to lay nicely, but I'm being patient. I remember that it took me a long time to get my Delightful to do the perfect hobo folds! lol

Ok ~ thanks for the update! I appreciate it. :) I have not ventured into the Azur bags, but love the style, so I wondered how it was holding up... your mod shots look great! I have the Delightful, Sully, Artsy and Portobello.... so you can see hobos are my favorite ~ LOL!
It seems like the Azur fabric is a bit thicker than the other canvas. Good luck with your Soffi!

HAHA!! We have all the same bags! I think you need a Soffi, for sure!

I think I might... LOL :graucho:

Let us know how that slouch is coming along! I am also interested in how the Azur wears over time as I don't have any of this print. Thanks!

Azur is great..I have lots of azur, and I've never had issues with the way it wears. Even my knock around azur speedy, which I don't baby at ALL still looks beautiful.

I waited for years for an azur hobo..I tried Galliera, but it was too round, tried azur artsy, but the strap was too short, tried azur neverfull, but it hurt my arms, siracusa, weird strap length, Evora, I still have it, but it's just not something I carry a lot.... But I am liking the Soffi. It's casual and comfy and I really love the two handles. I am constantly switching from arm to shoulder depending on what I have going on in my hands..LOL It's very useful!

Well, you are really tempting me to try this bag on again!:smile1: Thanks for all of your info. and insights!

Poor Soffi sat in her box for 2 weeks. I just wasn't compelled to even play with her. It doesn't help that it has been raining cats and dogs most of that time. Took her out the other day and hung her on a doorknob with some books. The next day I added my Purse-to-Go and tried the bag on again. After playing with her a bit I realized I really need a shoulder option so I'm trying to make Soffi work. I tried and tried to get her to slouch, but she wouldn't stay. She's doing better though. The doorknob worked wonders and gave her some more curve. When using the long strap, however, Soffi is very rectangular and resembles a messenger or tote. I wish I could get the bag to slouch like muranogrl's or trumanfinn's. Those bags have a prettier shape. I tried moving the short strap to the outside as recommended, but when I switch to the long strap as I would in daily life the short strap juts out awkwardly. I'm in the club for now. Here are some shots. For each pic I had to arrange the bag in an attempted slouch.
