Suede can attract dust more easily, especially on darker colors, while smooth leather can be prone to scratches. It really depends on what kind of wear you’re comfortable with over time
Same thought process I had. But that suede REALLY calls out to me.
I love the suede and I’m sure you have enough leather black bags
Smooth will age beautifully if you're like me and love the worn in vintage look. The row's smooth leather is so buttery and gorgeous. But if scratches bother you, then absolutely avoid it because it will happen fast!
Just picked up the amazon (no relation to the store!) clutch in smooth leather and it is the cutest little gem! And surprisingly roomy

Bit of a fun post ..
My sister has lost an awful lot of weight, not through choice, and has to use an arse cushion to be able to sit comfortably.
We both visit my Mum who lives a long way away every other weekend. She brings this cushion there and we all discreetly ignore it.
Except last weekend, my sister was leaving and looking for her cushion. My buffoon of a brother said it’s over there on the pouffe. She looked and dissolved into uncontrollable laughter then picked up my everyday bag, which I lay flat, and said this is NOT an arse cushion. That’s what they all call my poor bag now 😂😂😂

I still love my dark brown 16 Margeaux. Get tons of compliments on it too.
The Margaux leather is equally incredible but I have 2 saddle bags- not the pebbled which I’m sure wear well too but I love, love the saddle. I’m sure the suede is amazing
I'm contemplating the pebbled leather Margaux and have some questions. How do we know what colours are available? I can only see dark taupe and black online but I've seen other colours in the thread or online.
I'm torn between the 12 and the 15. I like the versatility of the strap with the 12 but not sure if it's going to be too small on my 5'8" frame. I have a B30 and it might be too similar in size (although I don't carry her too often so maybe the 12 would be a better everyday alternative)? I love the slouchiness of the 15 but am afraid it's too big for everyday use? Does anyone have a pebbled leather 12 and can comment on whether or not it gets slouchy like the 15?

I have a pebbled black Margaux 12 and also a black B30 so interestingly I’m in exactly the same situation so hopefully can help. I’m 5’3 however so a fair bit shorter. For what it’s worth, the strap on the 12 isn’t that useful to me because the bag is quite bulky and so doesn’t look quite right either as a shoulder or crossbody - it is exclusively top handle held, for me.
It does not get as slouchy as the 15, which I see as a bonus since I don’t really like it when the larger Margaux bags flop about too much. It is much lighter than my B30 and while I still occasionally wonder if I should sell it since it really is quite similar to my B30 in size (and they’re both black), they do have different vibes and the Margaux is much more under the radar, which in certain situations I prefer. The pebbled leather is also beautifully soft to the touch and I love that. It’s a wonderful everyday bag if you like top handle or crook of the elbow bags.
