I’ve been stalking The Row website for a Margaux 12 and noticed that the Margaux Shoulder Bag disappeared yesterday. I’m about to pay over retail for a pre-loved Margaux 12. Am I crazy?!

I’ve recently have seen Margaux 10 and 15 sizes available for purchase on The Row’s website. Personally would not do pre-loved and most definitely not over retail — what if you end up with a rep for that price?
Perhaps try calling a boutique and put your name down on the waitlist if there’s a very specific combination you’re looking for. Don’t FOMO due to some rumor and get ripped off! Doesn’t seem like the Margaux will be discontinued this year at least, just that the style is supposed to be available only from The Row directly going forward so they can control distribution better.

I refreshed the row website early morning. That’s where I got the bag from. I missed when size 12 was restocked online in January. That’s the size I really wanted. I agreed what others said, no need to pay over retail price for Margaux.
I stalked the site for a week and was able to score a Margaux shoulder this week directly from their site. I believe it was the only one in stock as the link to that part of the site stopped working after appx 24 hours post-purchase. A customer service phone agent told me if the link disappears for an item it likely isn't coming back...I was also told by a store SA that the East West style is supposed to replace the Margaux shoulder (and possibly the original Margaux?) Time will tell of course but I do believe Margaux is being phased out. Finally, my local The Row had physical stock of a few Magaux East West. . Hope this helps.

I have this bag and love it and the quality. I have had no issues at all! The only thing is that the hook attachment occasionally makes a squeaky sound when moving the strap on and off but no problem with it. Will post photos soon 🤗!
I was lucky to find the Peggy clutch in chestnut ans from Mytheresa and it’s my new favourite bag. The quality of the leather is amazing inside and out and it fits everything I need! I love that the shape is reminiscent of the Margaux but is more practical for me as it’s less bulky on the sides.
