I bought the Marlo Bag in black from the website the day pre-order was available earlier this week. Although the delivery date was stated as 28 Feb, it shipped almost immediately and here it is. Now the black is waitlisted while the other 2 colours are still available for pre-order. If you are interested, I suggest you pre-order it before it goes onto to waitlist (which I never get an email for based on previous waitlist experience, I just have to keep stalking the website). The moss colour looks interesting.
For reference, I am 1.65m, 5ft 4. Beautiful saddle leather, soft yet structured, feels amazing carrying it by the body. It is a large bag due to the flaps. I would imagined it looks bigger than the Margaux 17 which has the flaps folded in. I had previously ordered the Margaux 15 and returned it as I felt the width was too bulky and shoulder straps were slightly short. The shoulder straps of the Marlo sits comfortably.

I bought them in brown and I LOVE them- but you have to wear a few times to get them soft- amazing
I'm curious about the quality of the hardware. Anyone care to share their thoughts/experiences? I'm really interested in the Hook version of the Park tote, but I'm concerned about future repairs if something happens with the hardware.

Can you push the sides in for a squarer shape? Or, will the push back out if you try?
Agree! Too large…I understand they will be coming out with a 15 and 12 so maybe a better option. I know what you mean about the Margaux base, but I still love it. The buckles on side are so pretty to me. I’m unsure on Marlo as of now. Also, it does not have feet.
I must be living under a rock bcs I just found out about the N/S Park tote in this size about two weeks ago! I swore by crossbody bags my whole life but lately have been carrying my small reusable tote from Lululemon instead. Realizing how it's SO nice not to weigh everything on my shoulder, I then began wondering if there's any nicer alternative with similar form factor in the handbag market.
It was then when I discovered that the perfect little tote exists! Extra points to it having a long-enough strap loop so that it could be slipped onto my shoulder in times when I need both hands and nothing dangling on my arm. It's tall enough to house my water bottle and wide enough to fit a book/ kindle, and some more.
I almost thought I can't get ahold of this color (Elephant) except in the secondhand market due to it being seasonal color, so imagine my surprise when I found out FWRD.com still carried the last stock and I was granted basically the original MSRP of when this color was first released and basically tax free with their discount coupon due to a very minor imperfection! Couldn't be happier with the purchase and great customer service as well.
Congrats on your new purchase! I like the look of the Park tote 😃 My only issue with the bag is that it doesn’t come with a zipped detachable pouch or a zipped inner pocket… I prefer shopping bags/totes that provide some security, if I’m paying a luxury price for a bag, I expect the brand to give such attention to detail… wish they update the style. That’s my dealbreaker with Picotin as well

Also what do you think about the rumors that The Row are going to discontinue Margaux? Or at least limit the distribution to only The Row stores, no more stock for Mytheresa/Netaporter, other multibrand stores? 🤔
I have seen Cos’s dupe of the bag the other day and when trying it on I understood that the Margaux might not be the bag for me, I don’t like that it’s a bit bulky on the sides (the way big Birkins are) and it’s essentially an open tote (Birkin is secure, given you can easily close the bag with the flap if you need). I only like the mini size, 10 or 12, but since you can’t find easily Margaux, I haven’t had an opportunity to try it on IRL in either size.
Same with the Birkin, it’s interesting to see how certain bags become so popular on social media, as if everybody has one (probably some are fakes😅), yet still so coveted, given they’re not so easily to get 😄 Psychology of scarcity!

I think they did it because it was getting duped and the brand in itself is lowkey, so it was likely not what they wanted. It’s their marketing style, though…agree.
I was obsessed with it originally, then sold mine, but I missed the beautiful leather. I love their bags….leather is like old Celine, but better. So, I bought the 15 and 12 and I LOVE them. I love the saddle leather personally. I also love the parks…another classic. But they are not for everyone, hence why I think you see a few on resell but the prices are insane.
They are becoming harder and harder to get…but they do have other beautiful bags.

That sucks, why would they bother sending that? They must know it would be returned.
