I saw a "look" book for fall items. They had everything up until the October or November collections. The store I went to allowed me to look at it because I wanted to see if they were coming out with anything in patent other than the Gallery tote (they're not). I think if you ask or describe that you saw a patent Coach bag in a magazine that's coming out for fall--maybe they'll let you look at the book? It's a small book--about 10 by 4... Good luck!
