I am SO GLAD I bought mine before the increase. And now I am staggeringly happy I splurged on all my other LV stuff. Those price increases are out of control. The Damier Speedy 25 now costs more than I paid for the 30 *less than a week ago*. Kee-rist. This had better be the last one for a while, or I agree, they are going to price themselves out of the reach of those who would otherwise buy them.

Hey LV, just because Chloe can get $$$ for those (sorry to you who like them!) ugly ass weigh-a-ton Paddies doesn't mean you should jack all your stuff up to match them! Just a thought.:rant:

I live in London, the prices haven't been updated yet over here. I bet there are going to soon though, I just bought an Abbesses, which is cheaper in GBP before the price heist than in USD (it costs $985, translated) . So, I'm looking at prices over here as on sale, which means I'm going to have to run out soon to my local and go crazy!!!... again.

Ouch...those are some hefty increases.

What bothers me is that when I talked to my SA at Saks about the increase, he was very cavalier about it and said that people are so used to the price increases now, it's not a big deal. :blink: I didn't know how to respond at that particular moment.

When you raise the price of a bag by almost $100, it is a big deal.

the Vernis Bedford went up $50
the Papillon 30 went up $40
the Batignolles Horizontal went up $40
the L'Epanoui GM went up $150

i saved $280 :shocked:. if i'd returned my L'Epanoui GM, it would be $4000 by the time i decide i want it again.

the increase is so steep that it's unreal

I'm not a paddy fan but at least they are made of leather! Bags mostly made of canvas should not go up so much IMO.

I agree 110% .... I have to save in a big way for these bags and now with the increase....I will not be able to buy as much with my money...
I was not able to purchase anything before the increase came into play,... so now I will have to wait till my stash grows ....

I cant believe how they raise their prices so much. If only the stock market went up that much!! I think I am done buying LV for a while!:sick:

Probably the GBP is stable against the Euro, and the USD has depreciated quite a lot?
At the beginning of the year when the SGD (Singapore $) appreciated against the Euro, LV here LOWERED prices.

That really :censor: me off!! I stalked elux for the black jasmine and right after the price increase they add it back to their inventory!! I did have the tulum GM in my shopping cart just prior to the increase. It went up 70.00 but I was able to purchase it at the old price since it was in my cart.:yes: I wish I could have afforded more!
