i had the mono first but have recently discovered the empreinte. i like the empreinte more than i ever expected to. not sure why but i think i prefer it and now am tempted by other colors. could be a slippery slope lol.decisions decisions... should I get another PM in monogram when I already have 2 in empreinte (MR and Noir) ? Hmmm...

agree. i would not part with my mono, but the empreinte offers some fun color options : )I do love my empreinte ones - they are much more fuss free (think vachetta leather, glazing cracks, canvas cracks) than the monogram ones but the monogram ones are still classic![]()
I was just about to post about this as I was just looking at the PM reverse’s. I couldn’t find anything about the vachetta tab on the reverse. I wonder if the pictures are photoshopped. Is this reverse PM with vachetta tab a new remake? Photo taken from Fashionphile.
Wow that looks weird. I just bought mine last week and it doesn’t have that Vachetta tab. I like it in black better anyway. Is this reverse PM with vachetta tab a new remake? Photo taken from Fashionphile.
Why would Fashionphile photoshopped this particular part I am not clear.I was just about to post about this as I was just looking at the PM reverse’s. I couldn’t find anything about the vachetta tab on the reverse. I wonder if the pictures are photoshopped.
Louis Vuitton will never repair a bag by using different parts (which do not belong to that particular model) I can imagine this might be a manufacturing defect. That is why I asked if that is a new remake of this model.how strange! just looked at all of the photos. i don't see how they could be photoshopped. is it possible that someone had the tab replaced? cannot figure this out at all. they even list patina of vachetta in the condition description so they acknowledge that it is vachetta.
of course you wouldn't expect them to make that kind of error but you never know : )Louis Vuitton will never repair a bag by using different parts (which do not belong to that particular model) I can imagine this might be a manufacturing defect. Everything is possible unfortunately these days...of course you wouldn't expect them to make that kind of error but you never know : )
Just speculation. Why would Fashionphile photoshopped this particular part I am not clear.
just curious regarding the photoshop idea. that tab appears in all of the photos on the listing. doesn't seem possible that they would do that, does it? and there would be no reason to do it that i could think of.Just speculation.
The only reason I can think beside Photoshop is, 1) Fake (not sure how something so obvious would get by them), 2) Repair (but I would think it would be listed in the description), 3) Limited Edition limit (I also think it would be listed in the description as so).
