I would just keep it, especially if the rest of the bag is flawless as you mentioned. You can always have it reglazed if there is ever a problem with it.

I've been wanting a Pochette Metis for ages and finally got my hands on one. This is my first time seeing one close up IRL, and I'm not sure if the one I got is defective. I had always assumed that that triangular hardware on the flap (the part that clicks into the S-lock) was a flat piece, but on mine, the point of the triangle curves up slightly. I don't know if it's designed that way, or if mine is bent.
For other PM owners, is your clasp perfectly flat/smooth?
I must say, while I'm happy overall with the bag, I'm surprised that the clasp hardware feels so lightweight, and the spring mechanism feels quite loose. I was expecting it to feel a bit more solid.

Don't worry, my clasp is like that too. I think it is supposed to be like that.

But I do have a question - Has anyone used a wider strap to carry their PM cross-body? Say a bandouliere XL or even a non-LV strap? If so, would really appreciate any pics. (I’m considering getting a non-branded canvas strap to use on long travel days, but dear husband says: ‘What if people think your bag is fake?’

Have to agree! I was looking forward to this color but disappointed that the interior and glazing is blue.
That is exactly what I said when I saw this bag for the very first time, that she is a reverse version of marine rouge!
Joining finally! Been eyeing this bag for awhile but I fell in love with the berry cherry. I know people don’t really like the blue contrast but I love it!

I’ve Bandouliere XL reverse & Bandouliere mono both calfskin underneath super comfy & soft. I use them both crossbody & shoulder strap with my Neonoe & mini palmsprings. The best purchase ever. XL reverse is little longer & little less wider which makes it perfect for my speedy reverse
Just to give you an idea about that I’m 5-4” for wearing it crossbody.
