Thanks for your replies everyone, it's great to hear you are all loving your Empreinte PM's. I have tried on a red one, but would like to buy it in noir. This maybe my next purchase if I can find one!
Mine is exactly like this. The embossing is very deep on the flap and the back of the bag but quite shallow in front. I don't have the option to return the bag (bought it in a different country). Nevertheless I am wearing the bag and enjoying it to the hilt. It IS a lovely bag and I am glad I got the emp version

Oh wow! Thanks so much. My NOIR PM looks exactly like the picture you posted. See attached pic! (note: this was taken directly under my bedroom light so the bottom half looks more washed out, it's not as bad as shown in the pic but you get the idea) I didn't notice in the store because I was just so excited to receive it after a couple weeks of waiting but when I unboxed it at home I definitely noticed. I also saw one in Marine Rouge today with the exact same thing, I think it was done on purpose from all the photos that I have seen and I really trust my SA. She offered to let me know when the next one comes in so I can compare in the meantime if I want to hold off on using the bag... which I am DYING too. BUT if the next one comes in identical, I will feel much better and can enjoy her AND if the next one is better and more deeply embossed than the one I have, even better! All in all, I do feel better that my fellow TPF's noticed the same thing and I didn't get a faulty one. Perhaps all of them come like this due to the nature of the leathers/bag. Just odd that they wouldn't just match it throughout the entire bag....
Will keep you all posted when the next one comes in and I can compare!

If you still within 30 days since you purchased it by all means you can exchange it anywhere in the world (but you can't do a refund).
I got an item in Paris and exchanged it to PM here in Las Vegas and I saved $450+ on this PM purchase.
Ahh thanks. Didn't know that. Anyway I have used the bag but I will remember this (for future purchases IF any).
Hi my SA recommend for me to get a hole punched in the strap. He said LV would not do to. He just said it was easier on the empreinte ones versus the monogram.

Just a bit worried with the embossing of my PM Empriente Noir. The flap and the back has a shallow embossing but the front is very deep.
Is this normal?
I've asked my SA if I could have it replaced but she said there is no more available and I need to be placed on the waiting list again if I would like to exchange it.

The flap and back of mine is very deep and the front pocket is shallow.
I consider mine normal due to the way the front pocket is shaped.
But I'm not sure about your embossing cause it the other way.

Hello Everyone! Love to see all your LV collection here! I am torn with 3 of LV bags at the moment, and I would like to get some opinions if you don't mind.
My selections between are Metis Cover Leather Monogram Empreinte or Croisette or NeoNoe. I know that Metis Cover and Croisette is a crossbody bag and NeoNoe is an entire different style compare to the other 2. But they are so nice, right? Would love to hear from anyone who can give me some opinions!
I prefer to have some options as I will just have 1 day to shop (with a most likely grumpy Boyfriend tagging along
) My time is pretty limited so I'm shortlisting the boutiques I'm going. I know most of the mentioned bags might be hard to get as they are always in demand. But I'm just crossing my fingers that whatever, I'm shortlisting now they will have in stock!!!

I would go for the pochette metis. It's such a useful bag that I do not think will date itself.
I have both the pochette metis and the Neo Noe. I really do like both but right know I'm enjoying the pochette metis more. Keep in mind how much you carry, the Neo Noe can carry much more. With the PM I have to change into a small wallet and sacrifice carrying my small cosmetic case none of which I need to do for the Neo Noe. Thanks so much for your opinions!! I will be getting a tote from FLP and Chanel Coco Handle, so I was thinking of getting something different. I'm leaning more to PM but Neo Neo is a nice bag to have too
Don't think I can park him anywhere as he is sticky and it helps that he can speak fluent French.
I will see if I can get him something nice too if he is really grumpy Last year he waited for me for 3 hours buying 3 pairs of limited sneakers and he has not let me hear the end of it yet! I will try to make it nice and quick this time!
