I'm seriously considering a reverse. Any insight on if this style will be discontinued in 2017, or if they will do a new variation? I think I will love the reverse, but I don't want something I will like better to come out after I get one lol.

Just got home with my reverse PM! So excited! It was a surgery recovery and new start gift to myself. I sent hubby to pick it up for me and he's currently wrapping it to go under the tree. I can't wait to see it tomorrow!

All I know is they will have the PM in empreinte leather in 2017.

It is definitely a seasonal item. It will be discontinued in 2017 as per Louis Vuitton online customer service.

Any idea when they retire them online? Will I still be able to order from the store? My birthday is in February. I was wanting to wait until then.

Mine is faulty so I have returned it. I have been in two minds if it's a bit small for me anyway. When I enquired about a replacement they said I would be looking at the end of January. No stock anywhere. If you order it, you don't pay until they have one for you.

I'm loving the look of the new released Pochette Metis BUT as much as I LOVE the Black/Red one.... I'm not loving the Green lining inside.... Gross!! I really wish it wasn't green.....

I was under the impression it was a limited edition. On the US site the reverse is still available for purchase online but the infrarouge version is listed as "call for availability" which lines up with what one SA told me last week that the infrarouge were already out of production so there were very limited stock left. He didn't tell me anything about the reverse version though.

Yes but the embossing is only on the flap part of bag which I'm not sure I like. I would have rather had the whole bag the same

In the PM club. I have to say I really like the style of this bag. Right now it's under the Christmas tree but only a few more days to go until it makes its way into my purse closet
