Bought one in June even though I was aware of the glazing issue. Quite a few ppl have reported the glazing problem on the flap. This was why I made sure to use it very carefully. I hardly ever used it for longer than two days straight and only once or twice in a week, but didn't used it every week. Never over filled it and carried it super carefully. Always kept it in the dust bag and box when I was not using it. So imagine my horror when in Oct, I took it out of the box and saw that the glazing on the flap had indeed peeled off! My SA said the repair would take 3 months!! When I went to the store to hand my bag in, by a happy coincidence, my SA was held up helping another customer so the manager served me. She was so super about it and was so understanding about me being upset. She came back with a brand new Pochette Metis and said, "I'm going to give you a brand new one so you can go home with a bag today." I was shocked because it was so totally unexpected. I have to say, LV customer service is the best - which is why I keep coming back! I love the Pochette Metis but this experience has made me wary about using it now. I still think it's a brilliantly designed bag n love using it but I'm actually thinking of selling it. I still can't bring myself to let it go though. So torn
