I believe that if you wear the bag crossbody it's inevitable for the corners where the hardware hits the corner of the flap where the glazing is its gonna lift from the friction. Does that make sense? My first one did that badly and then with my second one I avoided wearing it crossbody altogether and just slung it over my shoulder to avoid that happening again. The second bag I had I left in the car during a warm day and my front flap warped so be careful not to do that. The bag unfortunately was a curse for me it was too bad though it really was one of my favorite styles...

I think it is ok to wear as crossbody. It should be bend on your hip which is the centre of the bag. The glazing on the flip should be ok. I think it might happen when the bag is not too full. I feel the flap are in better position when the bag is quite full

I always had my bag full. It peeled not on the flap the area where the brass hits that corner behind it on the side. I don't have the bag anymore so I can't say exactly the spot. Others will have to chime in where their areas of defect are with the glazing issues. I hope none of you have that problem anymore I had the original model too

Congrats & welcome [emoji112]🏻. I love this bag. When I purchased it I honestly wasn't in love with it. I got it because it was a "hot" bag & I wanted to see what all the fuss was about (which I never have done b/4). Well, this is the one time I was happy that I was a sheep following the herd. It's so versatile, practical & chic (IMHO) at the same time. I hope you enjoy it in the best of health & it puts a smile on your face. [emoji6]

Hi there, I purchased my pochette Metis this February I got very lucky when the bag was rumored to be discontinued the store manager helped me get my hands on one two weeks after she placed my order. Unfortunately last week I noticed that the glazing on both sides of the bag near the flap was peeling badly. I was heartbroken as this bag quickly became a favorite. I took it in today and my SA said it was definitely defective. I received a store credit and a new pochette Metis was ordered. I really hope I can get my hands on my favorite bag again. Definitely disappointed in the quality but grateful for the customer service. Is anyone else having quality issues with their pochette Metis??
I think it's more of a design flaw than a quality issue. If you noticed the hardware from the strap rubs the glazing in the spot where most have issues with peeling.
