With today's technology everything is possible. A few years ago I have seen online a hunter green empreinte PM which was never planned or released by LV. Somebody made the effort to create this never existing bag. Could be the same or similar story.

I bought a Pochette Metis East West online on the 5 June 2023.
I received my handbag on 30 June 2023. And as soon as I opened, I noticed the Monogram Print was not aligned, in the front. It's authenticity was questionable, well I returned the bag and Louis Vuitton Sandton said to get me another bag.
My second bag arrived and I received it in the first week of August 2023.
And the Monogram Print at the back was not aligned. Louis Vuitton claims they have a reputation for top quality manufacturing. Disappointed once again, they said I should return the bag and take something else because they can't order me another bag in that style.
I don't like the manner in which they are handling this, why should one settle foe anything less then the quality we are paying for?

It is unacceptable! Good thing I got a good SA and she said she'll find me another bag. I had the some problem with an odeon PM.
Last week when I was going to pick her up, the other SA is trying to tell me that it's normal but the other side is perfect alignment but the other is not. So I texted my SA and they talked to each other (the SA that was helping me in the store, because my SA is off). I got refunded and they're ordering me another one. It does look fake when they're not aligned!!! so if I'm spending this much money for a bag, we expect the alignment and quality to be there.

I’m considering a PM as my next bag, but I can’t decide what color. I want something that can be worn casually, as I’d want to be able to use it for everyday errands and taking to work (I wear scrubs). Would you recommend black, monogram or reverse monogram? My other LV bags are all DE.
From my personal experience, I would say Noir/Black Empriente PM is my most used bag. At a first glance it might look less exciting than Mono or Reverse Mono (had both of those too), but it's extremely versatile, comfortable to use, less prone to any issues (ie canvas cracking) and could be "pizzazzed" with varios strap options or twillies.

My first instinct is to tell you to buy what lures your heart in the most. But I thought I’d share my experience with something I didn’t expect. I have both canvas versions (mono and reverse) and the black empreinte. It’s my favourite bag of all time (at first for aesthetics, then purely for function), so, yes, three. I was in love with the reverse, that was IT for me and I kind of didn’t expect much from the other two. But. The monogram one is the most versatile and practical for me, it just goes with everything. I get the most compliments for the black one and it’s the one I choose when I feel like flying under the radar a bit. But the mono is by far the winner, all these years. It just looks so good, the perfect everyday bag. I spray with Collonil Carbon Pro, have been caught in the rain time and time again, and I have zero water spots and an even patina.
I adore my Black Empriente PM.

I have had both Mono and Reverse.
I was too scared to use the mono from fears of marking the Vachetta (crazy) so I bought the reverse. The reverse is carefree due to the black leather trim but I found it harder to pair it with my outfits.
Mono far more versatile… but … I didn’t like the feeling of the canvas in the PM.
I bought the black Empriente and it is beautiful. It is understated but also elegant for a PM. I have taken it on a lot of trips as it’s versatile.
As I loved the leather version so much I also bought the Tourterelle and I have to say it is the most used and reached for bag out of my collection.
I wear scrubs to work as well but I would never take my bags to work.
I think if you get the leather version first you may find you won’t want the canvas.
But if you get the canvas first you will still want a leather version.
I sold my 2 canvas PM’s.
The Empriente PM’s are much better quality and value for money.
