I have 3 that I rotate throughout the year but all get heavy use. I have yet to get flap curl on any of them and my oldest is 4yrs old. When storing them I just take off the strap and put it inside the larger pocket and store it in the dust back upright.

Do you put stuffing inside when storing the PMs? good to know not all experience flap curls, coz I’ve seen some particularly on the monos.
I don't stuff mine and I have reverse, mono & noir.

I do stuff mine a bit besides storing the strap, I add small clean plushies or even clean socks lol even something inside the back zipper so it doesn’t look dented in. I just have to close the flap without pushing down on the clasp.
I have both the mono and empreinte noir for 4 years now. No curling on the flap at all. I stuff them with air paper when not in use.
Finally can say I joined the club with my first PM! I couldn’t decide between the MONO or REVERSE. Decided I had to go with the reverse to have a matching set!

I tried on this bag for the first time at LV today and I thought it would perfectly suit my needs: crossbody, lightweight, has better organization than the Speedy. My concern is that I feel like the price does not match the quality... the canvas felt really thin compared to my vintage Speedy 25. I also know that there was (is?) lots of issues with quality control, I'm not sure if that is still the case. If I were to buy new or preloved, what should I be looking out for?

I have been buying LV for 40 years now. And as of recent, I look for How Well the Patterns - Monogram or Damier - Match. Louis Vuitton’s high prices have gotten even higher over the past couple of years. If ordering online, know your seller and examine pictures carefully. It is always a plus working with a good SA seeing the handbag in person.

Hello! A bit late in replying to this but wanted to say that my PM in empreinte leather has held up remarkably well, almost looks like new. Granted, I use it mostly during the fall and spring months, so not all year. The wear and tear on the hardware (d-rings included) are holding up well. The only issue with mine is the s-lock looks a bit faded so will have to replace in the next year, but it's not that noticeable. Hope that helps.
