Oh no! I haven’t shopped LV in a long time and all my CA’s have left. I’ve been going back and forth on getting black one, but the price has kept me back. It’s gone up $700 since I bought one a couple years ago. Should I pull the trigger?!
I have three (mono, reverse and black) and, I know it sounds ridiculous but bear with me, they are different bags. I pair them with diffferent outfits and they check a different mood. The black one is the ultimate universal bag- it's chic and more covert. I would buy it again in a heartbeat if I lost it. I could kick myself for waiting so long to buy it, I paid last year's price, which is almost the same as now. I'd pull the trigger now, it's a foolproof choice.
I asked here in BH and Seoul. They said no. I know there was this kinda talk before they discontinued the favorite bag as well. I still love my favorite and Pallas even though it’s discontinued so…
Yes, get it. I would kick myself too had I waited with these price increases but it's still worth it IMO. Like the above poster said, I wouldn't hesitate to repurchase it again. I had a game plan when I got mine, I fell in love with the style so I purchased the black first knowing it was the most expensive, then I added the mono and reverse. I did still pay more because there was a year or two in between each and a couple of increases but don't have any regrets with any of them.
Can anyone comment if the glazing issue on the canvas versions have been fixed? I've been debating pulling the trigger on a PM, but I'm concerned about glazing issues.
I have bought all three of mine during the last two years (mono, reverse and black empreinte). They are in heavy rotation and look brand new. Zero glazing issues. Go for it, no doubt.

I got this PM for a good deal. At first I was kind of sad that the stamping wasn’t that deep (because I’ve been saving the pictures of all you’ll postings and comparing) but, now I actually like that the stamping is so discreet. I also had to check myself and be grateful that I was able to even buy this bag for myself. Also why go through the hassle of selling this bag, and then having to rebuy it a full price and then possibly getting a bag that had issues?
I bought these Samorga inserts, in my favorite color, to make it easier to close. I’m possibly thinking of getting the marine rouge one as well - secondhand of course.

That's a great idea to get the insert to help with closing the bag! Do you mind if I ask how much the Samorga organizer cost?
It's $60 + $32 for shipping, I think she's located in Korea.
She gives free shipping with $150, so I bought an organizer for my PM, 2 for my Gucci Horsebits, and one for my Longchamp Large tote. I'm pretty sure some people here may know some cheaper options.

I did my order 11/23, it shipped 12/2, and arrived 12/5.
Was your PM a recent purchase? How long did you have it?
I think the really problematic bags were the old ones (from around 2014-2015?). Recent versions seem to be doing better.
Both mono and reverse from 2019. Mono is damaged so I don’t have it anymore. Reverse only the strap has issue and was replaced.
