Finally got one!

Beautiful! Can I ask if you got this PM online or in boutique? Hunting one for my daughter....

Hi !
I just got a PM in black empreinte, it was delivered this morning and I immediately began wearing it.
I was in first place shocked its smell... God it smells like chemicals, certainly not leather (my 12 year old épi Speedy still smells sooo good).
Hadn't I bought it at LV, it would make me question its authenticity.
It should disappear within a few days.
My quick question is I cannot find the date code; where is it ?

(I edited the post because I found an answer about my question on the clasp)

LV now includes a chip inside the bag for authentication purposes and no longer does date codes.

If it was me, it wouldn't bother me but if it really bugs you then try for an exchange. Hopefully they will have one in store for you to compare.

I wish my local store would get some in so I could just go in and compare. Online ordering does not seem to be the way to go. Thanks again for you insight.

I definitely needed the black! When I was allowed inside to shop, the wonderful SA who helped me was actually holding the noir PM, so we decided it was meant to be!

New to this LV world. Decided to get the PM and stalked the Internet. Finally received this morning. Is this normal or should I return??

I’ve learned that there is no such a thing as a perfect Pochette Métis. I have 4 PM’s and they all have flaws but they are not defects. We all can express our opinion if it’s normal or not but you are the one who will use the bag, you are the one who needs to determine if you are okay with the bag. My mono PM had the same corners. After I started using the bag the corners got smoother. Maybe try to order another one and keep the one that you think is perfect.

You are right, I suppose all of the talk about the quality makes you look closer into all of the details. More concerned about the flap not being even. Also the corners at the bottom look flat and feel soft?

Would it be excessive to have 3 PMs?! I have Reverse and Rose Poudre, but now I want Empreinte noir. It’s my most used bag (along with my PSM). What’s a girl to do?
