You can read what I just posted. I went to the store, they took pictures. LV originally offered to reglaze, no charge, but my SA asked for replacement since my bag was new. I got it in early November. I would think it would work similarly to send in photos to the repair section.
Thanks! I don’t have an SA as I have purchased all but one of my bags online. And I am afraid that 1) my bag is from December 2019 and 2) my issue might not be as pronounced (yet) as yours. But I will probably drive to the store next weekend and see what they say. Tried to schedule an appointment online, but the booking os unavailable. Whatever that means.
Yes, it wasn't as pronounced as mine. But really I think it shouldn't be there at all. It is hard not being near a store! I'm a little bit closer than you, but it is still 3 hours round trip. I wish you luck!!!
It depends, I think most of the time they don't. Especially if it's in the first year or two.
I got the black bandolier strap and I love it, such a great strap on many bags, I've ordered the dove pochette metis I already have the mono but wanted one for all weather
This is normal wear and tear, from the flap opening. It's not bad at all, very tiny
Is it normal for this to happen after 15ish wears? I have really not worn the bag much, given that the pandemic began a couple of months after I first got it.
Hi fellow Métis lovers! I have a question around the vachetta handle. So I’ve noticed that mine started developing like grey patches (left picture) - barely noticeable under light (right picture). I have used a dry microfiber cloth that does a nice job for polishing and evening out but after a while the greyish hue comes back up. Maybe I’m too pedantic but any suggestions? I really don’t want to use wet cloths/tissue as the patina is still quite light. 
Yes, it’s very tiny and that’s where it stresses by pulling the flap up. It’s nothing to worry about unless the glazing starts to lift off
I am a perfectionist and this bothered me. So I emailed client services and was told they would re-varnish (re-glaze) it. I might still bring it to the store instead of shipping it myself, as I am curious to hear the opinion of their repair guy at the store.
I have all the bags you mentioned both mono PMs and DE speedy. (Among other bags) I was pregnant prepandemic (since end of Jan) the whole 2020 and we went out, even to amusement parks in the summer at 6-7 months pregnant. Used both of my PMs. Gave birth Oct 2020. Still got out of home to the zoo etc with my newborn. We went out with precautions. We are also working from home. Point is that even with me going out all this time, I wouldn’t buy the black bag as of now. I have been eyeing that bag too so I think we got good tastes in bag styles! Maybe hit it up with the stimulus! Lol but still I wouldn’t buy it as of now. BUUUUUT you could sell your black Gucci and get the black PM. If I had the Gucci I would do just that.Honestly, I think my consciousness is stopping me. I already have a black Gucci marmont (with GHW) and the other 2 PMs. I am afraid that if I also get the black empreine PM it would be excessive. I am trying to teach myself not to over-consume, but I keep wanting more and more and more. And I literally check the availability of the noir empreine on a daily basis. The struggle is real.
ETA: Also, since the pandemic started, I have only been working from home and my family and I have been quite risk-averse. We have literally not been to a restaurant or a cafe since February of 2020. We have not gone to a mall or travelled anywhere father than 2 hours away from our house for an outdoor day trip.
Given that I do not go anywhere, should I really drop $2.5K on a bag?!
Thankfully, I am in a position where I do not need (or qualify for) a stimulus check from the government. And if anyone is currently getting a stimulus check that they do not need, I would think that that person would donate it. And not spend it at a LV store. But, I guess, priorities.
