I just got a Pochette Felicie in DE this weekend at a store and was super excited because I’ve been trying to find it in stock for several months. I was told that they just got the bag in that day. It had protective plastic around the chain but not the button, when I got home I noticed that it had some scratches on the button. Has anyone else had this experience? Is it pretty common for the buttons to be scratched?

Yes, the button will scratch. It’s inevitable, unless one keeps plastic on it, which is unrealistic. I bought mine brand new in April of this year in pristine condition, but noticed recently that my button is scratched. I still love my bag very much and the scratches aren’t noticeable until you look closely.

I also really like my bag and hopefully the button won’t get any worse. It’s just that I generally don’t have issues with wear on hardware, even in older bags so this was kind of a surprise. I guess I can have it changed one day if it gets really scratched.

This issue is similar to the issues with the canvas crease in the Favorite. Because it’s canvas attached to a very thin lining, the canvas does not tend to lay flat. For this reason, I opted to get Felicie’s in Empreinte and monogram blossom. Neither of mine have this issue.

Because it is new, I would return it. If you decide to get another one in canvas, when you open it, slide your finger under the flap (like you would open an envelope) to unsnap it opposed to pulling on the snap. Opening it this way will prevent the sides of the flaps from sticking up over time.
Great advice and insight! I don’t remember the monogram blossom. Can you please post a picture? Thanks!

I’ve been rocking my rose ballerine Felicie for almost 1 1/2 years and she’s still my favorite. I got rid of the inserts since I didn’t use them. But, now I regret it after seeing all the pictures you ladies are posting!

I would never think to sell the PF inserts since I can easily use it another bag. I liked the wallet insert - nice and slim. I’ve also coordinated the PF zippered insert and bought the Rosalie wallet with the same fuchsia color inside

Ok. I need some help! I finally got my hands on a PF a little over a month ago and look at what has happened to my bag already. I’m sure the flap with crease overtime, but not in 30 days! This bag looks a year old. I did take it to the store today and they would have exchanged it, but they don’t have any in stock! I could try and send it in for repair, but the SA told me they most likely will consider it wear and tear and charge me. Really? It’s only a month old. Has this happened to anyone else?

I didn't know the crease was a problem with the PF but luckily this hasn't happened to mine yet (but I've also barely used it since I've gotten it).

Can you go back to the store and ask them to track one down for you so you can exchange it or to contact you if they get one in so you can exchange? Also, from what I've been reading on these boards, I would continue to push them because I don't think a crease like that is wear and tear. The crease was a major issue with the Favorite and it seems that most people were able to exchange or receive store credit for it. The crease is from poor workmanship, especially on a piece so new, and not from wear and tear.

I tried on the cherry berry felicie in epi with silver hardware. It wasn't on my radar at all and I love the navy microfiber lining. For those of you that have any epi pieces in your collection, how does it wear and have you had any issues? Anything else I should know before taking the plunge?

I loved it too. My CA said there will be more cherry berry pieces in Epi and Empreinte so I am going to wait.
