I just received a PA in mono with the strap attached. I assumed it was a return and I didn’t even think to check the date code! I returned it this morning because I wasn’t happy with the strap and there was a tiny black mark on the vachetta that looked like pen to me. I wish I had thought to check the date code!! I am having major regrets about returning it!So, I called customer service to ask about exchange, but of course it’s never available and only return was possible. I sent them the pics and they returned to me next day saying that this is not considered a defect, since every bag is made by hand and is unique, but they have no problem with me returning it if I’m not happy.
I stuffed the bag overnight and now the sides don’t look concave anymore, so I guess I’m keeping it.
Interesting thing that even though the bag was produced last week (so definitely not a return) it came with the shoulder strap already attached.

I was recently able to go into the Arizona Scottsdale Mall location and they had the DA version available. I really wanted Monogram but I’ve been unsuccessful with multiple attempts in store and online, so I’m just fortunate to have gotten this one.
I can understand that you are regretting it. Still, remember that if you were not happy with it, that this might just not have changed - no matter which datecode it had. I myself received a perfect PA DA last week with strap attached and it was made the week before. Perhaps there are just people working at LV who attach it - and some who don‘t and it is not a sign of it being a return (which even shipping wise would be near impossible with a bag made the week before). Also, I am just so happy to have found it and it is just perfect to me.
But with your PA, as the bag did not seem to be making you happy, I believe you made the right decision to return it.
You will get another chance on this bag! When I spoke to a SA at a boutique a few weeks back in search of the DA he said that he was not sure if it might get discontinued in the near future but the Monogram version he was pretty sure will be available for some time. So he told be to get the DA if I can. That’s why I believe the Monogram will surely be available again and then it might just be perfect to you and make you really happy!
Congratulations! I hope (and strongly believe) that you are going to be very happy with it! And try not to think about not having the Monogram (yet!).
1. I am sure with a little bit of help from the stalking thread and a lot of luck (sending now...) you will be able to find the Monogram version if you would like both.
2. I myself made the „mistake“ of hunting down the Monogram for months during winter and not buying the DA when I had a chance at the Place Vendome boutique while being on holiday in Paris (which now seems like years ago although it was early this year). I was able to get a Monogram version and I just adore the bag! But then came summer and I was like: now I would love the DA - why didn‘t I buy it when I could (and before the price increase...). The story has a happy end: last week after intense stalking I finally received my DA one and LOVE it!!!
3. While on search for the DA version I spoke to a SA in store maybe three weeks back and he told me to get hold of the DA if I could because it might get discontinued (he wasn‘t sure - nobody ever seems to be sure about this). But he was on the other hand very sure that the Monogram version is going to be available for a lot longer. So you might just have made the perfect choice as this bag could be much more htf in the future.
For now, just enjoy this one in the sunshine!
Bonus Fact: a very nice SA once took the time to explain to me that DA is made up of Azur Blue, Beige Brown and White because it represents the Sea, the sand at the beach and the brightness of the sun in summer. Loved that story!!!

It’s such a gorgeous bag, I just worry about dye transfer. I’m hopeful to one day add the Monogram version to my collection, I know it’s very sought after these days so it’s pretty hard to find and I somehow always miss the restocks. lolThank you for such a thoughtful reply!! I definitely wish I Had the bag but the one I got just didn’t meet my expectations. So I will have to keep looking for it again and hopefully the next one makes me happy. Good to know that the strap being attached isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I might have been a little hasty in returning it but hopefully the LV gods will smile down upon me again.
If you see/hear of monogram mini pochette at your store/a store, please PM me. I have contacted so many stores and stalked the website for months but can't find it. I found one today but the CA told me it had a mark on it 2 hours after getting my hopes up that I finally got it

Help! lol I just received my mini Pochette in DE in the mail and I think they put it in a box that was too small, causing the Pochette to bend in a way it shouldn’t. If I stuff it well enough, do you think the zipper and everything will straighten out as it should? There’s also dents and bumps in the canvas because of it being squished in there. Didn’t come with a ribbon either and everything seemed kind of thrown into the box. Debating on whether it’s worth the trouble to drive to my nearest store for a return or exchange, especially since they are hard to come by as is.
Wow, did this come from a store or online? I would definitely try to put some bubble wrap/stuffing inside to see if you can straighten it out. I would think it will, but who knows. Just ridiculous that they shoved it in the box meant for key pouches.
