I was switching from my weekly tote to my pochette accessoires nm and noticed something I wanted to share. The zipper and pull on my azur (purchased in store) has a shiny, mirror finish while the zipper and pull on my monogram (purchased online) has a matte finish.


All the hardware on my monogram pochette is shiny except for the zipper and pull. I'm wondering if this is an error in manufacturing or if they're just like this.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Mine is the same way. I never noticed. All three purchased recently, all MIF.


My mini pochette tahitienne is not shiny either.

I thought maybe the date code made a difference, but all the pochettes start with MB. The mini is SF. Hmm now I'm curious too!

I purchased a DE and a Mono a few weeks ago and noticed the same. The DE zipper pull is shiny, while the Mono zipper pull is not. Both are MIF.

The newest additions to my mini pochette family! I've been looking to add these to my collection for a while and was so happy to have found them in new condition.

The quality difference is startling when compared to my transatlantic and Tahitienne mini pochettes. The canvas and hardware is so much more substantial in weight and feel on these older ones.

The old style is pictured on top and bottom and newer transatlantic is in the middle.

I have received my pochette DA that I just got online few days ago. Im surprised Data Code is MB4176 . I think that means was made in 47 week of 2016 year.
Is normal to receive in the mid of 2017 an item made last year? I bought some bags and SLG this year and all of them were made in 2017. I only have this issue with this one.
Is this normal or maybe is a returned item? What do you guys think? Should I keep it or return it???

Is it true are the pochette's being discontinued? If it's true, what a HUGE mistake. They are so handy for everything!!!

My SA confirmed this spring that they are going to be discontinued. Yesterday she told me that she is not sure anymore since there is conflicting information internally (!). She sounded like this is not normal and she seemed a little bit annoyed about it haha.

We are getting conflicting information, some SA's say it's being discontinued, others say it's only out of stock and will be replenished later.
I keep checking the website and it's always out of stock but other members have been able to order them. LV keeps discontinuing a lot of canvas items at more affordable prices, if you see one don't think twice and grab it!

Hey guys. Here's my new pochette in monogram. I was looking for a little purse for lunch or running on errands and came across this wonderful club. After going through your posts, I was really into the pochette accessoires nm in DE and mono. Unfortunately, the local stores only have mono in stock and the SA said they hadn't seen the pochettes coming in for months. So, mono it is!

Which store or what general area is your SA that's telling you this? Just curious since there hasn't been rumors of mini being discontinued in the US. Also SAs here make it seem like pochette isn't being discontinued just backed up on production

Sweden/Europe. But since she was unsure now, due to conflictning information within the company, AND because mini pochette was included in this discontinuing but was recently added to mon monogram line - i wouldn't trust it anymore.

Personally, since I wanted both pochette accessoaire and mini pochette, it made me pull the trigger sooner than later. I have missed so many bags that have been discontinued and I hate that. So I made sure to buy one of each in the canvas that I wanted the most. If they are still left next year I will probably add buy of them in DA as well.

I bought the PA DE at the beginning of summer and it was coded from 2016. It was from a store from out of my area and they shipped it to me. It is in great shape. I wouldn't worry.

So, I was at my local store today and asked about the pochette being discontinued. I was told there were none in stock BUT that it wasn't being discontinued and that they had a waitlist. Apparently my store doesn't sell a lot of them and therefore doesn't stock them much. So yet more conflicting info! Thought this might be of interest to some. Oh and should mention I'm in Australia.
