. I love the pochette so much better crossbody. I use one of my palm springs mini backpacks straps for my Damier ebene pochette and it looks and feels so much better this way.

I have the vernis Pochette and i also replaced the vachetta strap with the chain from the felicie. Though i may get one from kraft cos it looks longer
I attached my DE bandouliere strap to my pochette when I first got it because I was thinking the same thing, and I was undecided on if I wanted to wear it like that because the strap is a bit wide for the size of the pochette. It reminds me of a crossbody camera case strap that's really wide in proportion to a little camera case. It can be done. It matches in color. It's comfortable. It just doesn't look like the perfect fit.
I got my first LV-bag the other week on my 30th birthday, a pochette of course . I think it's so versatile and fits with everything. I would really like a long monogram strap to wear it cross body because this is usually how I always wear my bag. When I asked in the LV-store in Copenhagen some months ago about that option they said they don't sell it if I will use it for the pochette...I just visited Louis Vuitton in Athens and they said they didn't have any mono straps (I hope that was the truth...). At the moment I'm using gold chains from k-craft for the bag but I feel a long mono strap would be a safer option and suit better for daytime wear. Are the straps so hard to come by? I'm going to Rome next week, do you think I have a chance of finding one there? I looked at ebay also but there they sell them more expensive than in the shops even if they are rusty (!) and with some stains. Would be so thankful for any help because I really imagined me using this bag with the long mono strap.

Congratulations on your new bag!! I have one and love it and do carry it with a monogram long strap. I ordered it off the Louis Vuitton website - it's adjustable shoulder strap 16 mm monogram and $235 US dollars. Us website says call for availability soight be hard to find but the reps on the phone should be helpful in trying to locate one for you. I highly recommend this strap as I think it looks perfect with the mono pochette and makes it more functional (for me anyways)

Congrats! I asked my SA to order a strap as a replacement part, the one gif the mono Eva. I use it for my mini Pochette and my DA Pochette. I think it was $130.00 USD. I plan to get a mono Pochette like yours too. I love them!

Unfortunately I live in Athens at the moment and the european part of the LV website doesn't offer any webshop like the French and US versions. Also I doubt that I can order from the store here since they didn't seem very interested to help when I asked about it and seemed to question why I wanted the strap for the pochette. I guess I have to try my luck in Rome.
Update: I just checked and they have a webshop for Italy and deliver to the store of your choice. So I'll be able to order the strap and pick it up on my vacation in Rome next week! So happy

That is really weird of the SA's in Copenhagen.. the monogram strap is a normal product so they have no right to tell you that they dont sell it if you use it for the pochette. It's not their place to tell you how to use it. Argh, some SA's in LV stores just give such a bad customer service that I can't even believe it.. I've just learnt to not give in with the stuff they make up and that way gotten what I want. Im sorry you had such a sh1tty experience in both of the stores. These things just make me sad and angry..

Yes I was very surprised that they didn't want to sell the strap with the pochette in Copenhagen. I told the SA that I had seen it in the French webshop for sale etc and seen other people who use it with the pochette. She just answered that maybe there are different rules in different countries...one other SA there who showed me the pochette was much nicer but said I could buy only the longer strap in vachetta.
Of course I understand that regular customers at LV get a better treatment but I didn't think it should be that much of a difference. I almost feel like I don't want to buy more items from LV because they don't seem to have even the smallest interest in helping the ones who are new to the brand or who has a huge amount of money to spend. But at least I'm very happy with the pochette and look forward to get the strap to complete the look
