I can't believe I haven't joined this thread yet! I've been collecting Pandora for a few years, but only had a few charms. With the Disney collections, my interest was piqued again. Here's my current charm collection and next month, I hope to pick up a Disney bracelet and move all my Disney charms to that one.

My friends bought me the Pandora rose bracelet and heart charm for my birthday. I've never really considered Pandora before, but the Rose adverts caught my eye. It's so pretty on and I can't wait to add some more charms on it.

I have one issue though, when I take the bracelet off, the charm comes flying off. I know you can get clips & safety chains to stop that, but I don't love any of the Rose clips and they don't make any of the chains in Rose yet. Is there any other way of stopping the charm from falling off?

Are you considering mixing rose with silver? If so, there are some really pretty silver clips. And there are some pavé clips if you want to add a bit of bling...

When I first had my bracelet I started off with a single charm and always placed it right up close to the barrel and wrapped it around my wrist leaving the barrel at the bottom. That way when I came to take it off it the charm stayed put x

This is how the mixing rose with silver will look, which I actually think looks ok but that's my opinion x

just gorgeous!!!!!

So pretty. :smile1:

I did notice that Pandora jewelry (especially bracelet) tends to darken more often and needs cleaning more often, when compared to some other silver that I have and wear on regular basis. For example, every time I am rearranging my charms, when I take them off, I notice that the bracelet is darker in some places and since it bugs me, I always end up cleaning it before putting the charms back again.

Tiffany charges 15 usd for cleaning THEIR OWN jewelry? Wow.

Thanks for your responses. I think I will get some silver clips, there are a few star ones I like the look of. I looked up rubber stoppers as another option, but it looks a bit fiddly.

I know, I'm considering letting my Tiffany go.

It's 15 AUD! I'm in Australia :) I was told there was no charge for doing this in other countries by a friend (I'm not sure if she is right though )

I need feedback ladies!

My plan is to build a bracelet that has a combination of silver and rose charms. Since the barrel clasp is rose and I hadn't bought charms yet, I decided to get two matching rose clasps that say "Pandora."

Going forward, I plan on getting a few more rose charms to mix in with the silver ones that I already have.

However, I'm having a dilemma! I am thinking of maybe switching one of the rose clasps to the rose CZ heart to give it more sparkle (and keeping one of the rose "Pandora" clasps I currently have).

OR.....

Should I switch the clips to silver and then get rose charms?

I don't know what it is but I feel like something needs changing!

I would always get the silver clips, they are much more versatile and easier to combine.
You will not stop at only one bracelet and the silver clips can go on any other bracelet style... classic silver, leather (any colour), etc.
