I wanted to share my work in progress! I'm not 100% sure if it will be a baby-only theme, or a family theme with some love beads mixed in for hubby too. I also am not decided on whether I'd like it to be all silver or two tone, those just happen to be my favorite clips. I have 2 boys, a 4 week old and a 21 month old, so the arrival of our new sweet babe prompted me to start this new bracelet :D I'd love any suggestions you have to help me complete this, I've found so many beautiful baby GIRL bracelets for inspiration- but I think it's a little harder to come up with a bracelet just for boys. I'm the one wearing it, after all, so I don't mind some prettiness ;) I don't like large dangles, tiny ones are fine though. I also don't really want muranos or colored stones, I'd like to keep it as color-free as possible except for white or blue enamel. The daisy clip and bow are on there now just for balance and weight, they could stay or go on the finished bracelet. My first boy is rough and tumble, he likes all things BOY, my second is very new but so far is very sweet and calm in comparison. We live on a island, so I'm always drawn to those types of charms for every bracelet, but I do have dedicated "tropical" bracelets. I wouldn't mind adding one or two charms to this one to represent our home.

Some ideas for what I'd like to add:
-I need to hunt down an "L" block initial for my new baby's name
-The new little boy charm - 2 of them, one for each of mine
-The fairy tale book
-The frog prince
-Tiny little heart dangle, either silver or two tone
-^ & if I do the heart dangle, possibly the old guitar dangle for balance, but I haven't seen it IRL so I'm not sure of the size?
-I would like to see the rocking horse in store next trip, I saw a picture of a baby girl bracelet where that was centered as the only dangle and it really looked beautiful. That may be the exception to my no large dangle rule :p
-I would also like to see the carousel in person
-Possibly some sort of mom charm, I got the new openworks heart with "Mom" script and did not like it, so back it goes.

Thank you in advance for any input!

Looks lovely so far, for the mom charm, there is a spacer out with the mom script, that could be an alternative.... i have that one and love it! Also, the two tone heart dangle would look lovely with your clips!

I think a nice addition to the bear could be the baby boy charm (for the newborn).
They go really well together I think.

Since your idea is to have a "boy" bracelet, you could always add charms which represent boy related activities or items, such as the (beach) ball. I love that charm, would have like to have it myself but I don't have an idea where to include it on my bracelet.

As for the heart pendant, there is that one with the word mom inside the heart. I haven's seen it in person so I don't know if that mom inscription is that visible or not. I also have the mom spacers, they are great and they would blend well with the rest of your charms.

When it comes to charms about your home, i.e. the island, there is that cute palm tree pendant in the upcoming summer collection. Provided that you have palm trees where you live. ;)

From the online bracelet builder...all colors seem to clash to me...i dont know which one to wear on its own and which ones to leave on this bracelet...

iVALANI gave you great advice. And in the meantime, I think that it looks better like that, because the black seems deliberate instead of random, if that makes sense...

Please help me! I want this bracelet to be all silver, pretty and floral. I have the meaningful beads that i want on it, but they do not look good together...what will go with it in your opinion? i dont mind moving one or two beads on another bracelet/bangle...help me, pretty please!!
I think it looks good. Maybe you're experiencing 'pandora-in-progress-syndrome' lol I find that whenever I try to start a new theme or design, it never looks right. And I think its just because I have a vision, and of course it just doesn't look right until its finished, or until you have a few more beads so that they line up better and don't just look like an awkward, unbalanced, thrown together bracelet. The most beautiful bracelets I see are almost always perfectly balanced, or purposely unbalanced so that key beads pop out when you look at it.

You could try lining them up like this, from left to right I would put your black hearts, phone booth, clip, family bead, heart, murano, turtle, clip, buggy, ying-yang. This way the black beads will help balance it out.

The other thing I can think of is to put your family bead, phone booth, clip, black hearts, TURTLE, murano, heart, YING-YANG, clip, buggy and then you need to find another colored bead that matches the family bead. I was thinking the retired dark pink enamel butterfly would look great, and it works well on a floral theme. The beads that IVALANI suggested are also great options.

Maybe you're overthinking this. This is my bracelet, and you can see I have one purple section. In that sense, there is no harmony, but I never see the 3 sections at the same time.
In your position, I'd probably choose 2 other charms, one blue and one red, to compliment your lateral sections.
I love your idea to do different sections, it look great. I'm loving your stars section with all those great classic beads.

lol, could be the syndrome that you mentioned. and than you. i did arrange the charms like you mentioned, put the yin yang opposite the hearts like ivalani mentioned and i feel better about the entire arrangement. now to figure out what goes on there next :)

I want to thank everyone for their input on my silver bracelet, I tried the bracelet designer online, for the look I want some of my existing beds clashed, so I have decided to keep my Clips, London Calling Charm, I Love You Bead and the Turtle Charm. I am going to be selling my Family Bonds Charm, Glass Bead, another Fish Charm, Car Charm and the Hearts Bead in MoP. Have already listed them on eBay. I am finally feeling so relieved!! I wanted a more casual bracelet but am now leaning towards of a more summery/floral theme, hence, all the indecisiveness, thank you for entertaining me and putting up with me :)

P.s I also want to mention I have no intention of selling anything here, am simply informing everyone who helped me with what I have decided on for my bracelet.

Do you know how I could find the names and prices of retired charms? I'm trying to write down what I have and to figure out the actual cost of my bracelet.

I live near an outlet, if u give me the names I can get an SA at the outlet to see what the original prices of your charms were? They have older catalogs. Any UPC/ item numbers that you have, would help too.
