My favorite way to clean my bracelets is with blue Dawn dish soap and warm water. I let is soak until the water becomes cool, take a soft toothbrush and polish the beads, then rinse in warm water again. I use a microfiber towel to dry it. My bracelets look so shiny and new when I do this!

Aww Mr&Mrs bead is very cute your hubby is very thoughtful:smile1: regarding you finishing your two tone or creating a bling sparkly bracelet. I can only say from my experience with the two tones that its very addictive! For along time all I wanted was two tones they are so versatile looks nice with or without muranoes can mix with silver, solid gold or gold spacers can achieve many looks. Is got to the point where because Pandora don't really have a lot of new two tones in their new collections and I've collected a lot of the old ones already I've run out of choice!. So I'm contemplating doing a sparkly pave type bracelet but not sure as it will be a expensive venture we will see:smile1: You have so many lovely beads all nice and shiny I like your pink opal dangly.
Thanks. That is what I thought too, that they are quite versatile but it is also my fear that they are not coming out with any fast enough for my impatient Pandora-ing lol I also don't want to have to track down retired 2 tones that are probably price jacked because sellers know how valuable retired charms are to an addict lol Its so hard to decide really. I dream of winning the lottery and the first thing I would do is go to the Pandora store and make 5 bracelets in one bang! lol

LOL I do the exact same thing with the blue dawn soap too. I read about using a soft toothbrush on charms addict blog and so I went and bought a baby toothbrush and tried it. It did a better job than when I went to the store and they took my bracelet for 2 hours. My elephant beads ear was still yellow in the ear but when I do it at home it comes out so shiny and new.

I recommend Dawn dish soap and a toothbrush for the best results. And then sometimes I follow up with a quick rub with the polishing cloth (after they are dry of course).

Cool! Was it icky cleaning all the egg off the bracelet?
I read somewhere that you should wrap the bracelet in a stocking or paper towel before you put it in with the eggs, and you have to fill the bowl with water, because if the eggs touch one spot but not the other, the oxidation will not be even and it will come out spotty.

I have been thinking of oxidizing my own beads, thought it would be kinda cool lol

As I remember she used about 4 boiled eggs mashed put in a zip lock bag with bracelet the bracelet didn't smell very nice think it was something to do with sulphur chemicals released but it did the job just smelly bracelet for a wee while

Was it still shiny after the eggs or do you gently polish it somehow to keep the color, but still have the shine?

When it was done after 15/20mins the bracelet was very black, my sis ran it under cold water used the polishing cloth to take off some of it as it was more almost matt black carbon in colour. The polishing cloth give it more shine but it did take a bit of oxy off but not enough to reveal any silver. But the oxy does come off if it is polished with a polishing cloth too much. So don't over do it.

Thanks for the thought. It crossed my mind but now it makes more sense, I should probably start with my sparkly bracelet in mind and throw in the 2 tones that I really like, and eventually I'll just have enough to make 2 separate bracelets.

That's similar to what I'm doing now. I eventually want to create a two-tone bracelet and an oxidized bracelet, so I'm wearing all of the chams as one bracelet for now and will gradually make it into two bracelets as I collect more charms.

Hello Ladies,

I have been looking at all of your lovely bracelet's and I really enjoy that. A while ago someone wrote about pandorastore.be and I am so happy because I just ordered four murano's with a 14K gold core for only 51 euro's a piece. That's over 70% discount. Just wanted to give a head's up.
