Two questions:
1) when is the next promo?
2)what are your thoughts on the bangle?

Thanks, ladies!

In my opinion, I'm not keen on the bangle. It looks cheap and hollow - sorry to those who have it and love it. It's for me. I've never been keen on bangle type bracelets and I think the snake chain is so much more elegant. However, what do you think of it?:smile1:

I've had my pandora bracelet since beginning of April and it's still rigid and stiff like a bangle. Granted that I don't wear it everyday (maybe once or twice a week) and I have been waiting for the bracelet to loosen up but it's still solid like a bangle.

I keep my bracelet half full of charms. I have 2 clips and keep the beads eventually distributed in each section.

How long did everyone's bracelet take to loosen up?

About a month with daily wear.

Does this bracelet look real or fake?

I can't really tell on the picture but with a real Pandora the letters Pandora on the clasp is usually quite oxidised. The edge of the bracelet should also a stamp, as should the inside of the clasp, and should real S925 ALE. However, a lot of fakes have these markings too, but they don't normally have the stamp on the edge of the bracelet where the clasp is.

That's a rubbish response from Pandora, just telling you to take it up with the store. Don't they care if a store is presenting the brand in a bad light?

As a rule I am really mixed on Pandora's customer service. I think the whole franchise set-up is a cop-out as it means that it's really hard to get either the store or Pandora itself to take responsibility for any mistakes: they put it on each other. It's annoying that when a piece of jewellery breaks you can't just get a replacement - the store personnel aren't trained to assess it, so you have to wait 4 weeks for it to be sent off to HQ. Ridiculous.

However, when I've had issues with my jewellery, in most cases Pandora have actually been quite good. I was once sold the wrong size bracelet and when I complained to the store, they just gave me a free bracelet in the correct size, without asking for the old one back. I also just had a bracelet break outside of warranty and I e-mailed and complained and they said to send it to their HQ and they'd replace it for free.

You have been really lucky. It really depends on who replies on the Pandora website. I think generally they know we will buy regardless of complaints and if we stop buying, there are still millions more who are buying. It's a no win situation in most cases.

Thanks for your reply. :smile1: It is too bad that I don't have more pictures. I'm curious as to whether or not, based on the picture, there are any telltale signs of a fake.

Just by looking at it, it looks real but it does need a better inspection. For example if the word Pandora has little to no oxidization in it and it's a new bracelet, then it's fake. Where did you buy it from?

Thanks again for your input and I apologize if this is not the right thread to be posting in. It is a local bracelet that I am considering purchasing however I am not the person who will be picking it up so I can't inspect it. The seller is a coworker of a friend. I buy and sell lululemon and MAC so I am well aware of counterfeit items. I am sure the individual wouldn't intentionally sell a fake but not everyone is aware of shady sellers out there! It could have even been purchased from the Pandora store but since a friend is doing a favor, I don't want to seem too crazy with her as the middleman. I may just gamble with this one and hope it's genuine. If it isn't, lesson learned. I can't wait to start filling one with beautiful charms! Great inspiration around here!

The cheese and cookie part was funny! I am waiting for a promo too! I need couple charms, i will probably get three for a promo. I swear not to buy another bracelet, but i got two leather one, and the promo silver bracelet. I only put 5 charms on these 3 but it is additional 15 charms now. I do like it though.

mine was loose even when I got it but my sister has had hers for over a year and its still very stiff... poor quality control for pandora I guess...

You are allowed to post here. The other person just meant that you should not use this forum to sell items which you are not.:smile1:
